Moments away from the hustle and bustle of suburbia, this quaint steak house is located in Trabuco Oaks. It has the charm of an era gone by. The drive to this restaurant is beautiful, as it is located near O'Neill Park. This restaurant prides itself in providing good quality food as a reasonable cost. They are not into being pretentious, and in fact, if you wear a tie here, they will cut it off and add it to the thousands of ties which adored the walls and ceilings of this restaurant. My daughter and husband ordered the sirloin steaks and thoroughly enjoyed them. I am a vegetarian so not wanting to miss out on the experience I ordered the the "Set Up" which is all the fixings except the steak. There are a few other choices for vegetarians and vegan which include angel hair pasta (without the sausage) and steamed or sauteed veggies. I did not care for the garlic bread, but everything else was excellent. We all enjoyed the atmosphere, the restaurant being built around the trees, and the flashback to easier times. I would definitely recommend this restaurant as a deviation from the more upscale steak houses in OC.
