On a belly dancing night, I brought my family and a couple guests to this restaurant. After two couples had ordered shared meals, a server (not our own) requested that we order one meal per person. When we asked why, he said that he would tell us later. It was obvious that our waiter had complained to the other server about ordering shared meals.
No sign was displayed in the menu or restaurant concerning this rule and there was no extra charge for shared meals, which we would have happily paid. After being embarassed in front of our guests, we agreed to their request to order one meal per person.
Save yourself the embarassment and unprofessionalism and try another persian restaurant in the area.
