Habbieauld B&B Treat
We arranged to stay there for one night as a break whilst driving to Loch Lomond. Go through part of a housing estate and a short distance along a dirt track and soon the journey is transformed into a tranquil countryside farmhouse setting . The proprietor, Isobel, came out to greet us on arrival and to help us settle in. Isobel takes a genuine interest in making sure her guests feel welcome and well looked after. We were allocated a spacious bedroom with en-suite bathroom, as well as tea and coffee making facilities. In addition we had the sole use of the down stairs lounge and dining area as no other guests were staying at the time. Add to this an excellent full Scottish breakfast and you have the ingredients for a very satisfying B&B experience. It is hard to imagine how we could have made a better choice. If you are passing through the area and need somewhere to stay then give Isobel a call, you won’t regret it!
