“Angel Island visit”
Reviewed March 21, 2013

We spent a day walking around the perimeter road on Angel Island, reading notices about the local history. The weather was kind, the scenery from every side of the island spectacular and plenty of benches for eating packed lunches. The ferry boats ran to good time and the fact that the island is cut off from the public overnight makes it a more special destination.

“360 degree views of the bay”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

What a great way to spend the day! We took the ferry across to Angel Island and spend the day hiking the trails. We took lunch with us from a local deli and ate halfway up the hike. We took the south trail which was the opposite way most people went, so we had the trails almost completely to ourselves. Once you get to the top, the views are spectacular. You can see the entire bay including the SF city scape and the Golden Gate Bridge. The weather was perfect.

“Great views of the city”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

A great way to get around is hire a bike and cycle around taking stunning pictures of Golden Gate Bridge Alcatraz and the City. Good valley for a couple of hours working up an appetite for lunch.

“Love the Ferry!”
Reviewed November 10, 2012

Great way to head over to go biking for a day to Angel Island and into the Citty. The schedule changes in the fall due to less commuters to the city. Call ahead.

“Great Adventure & Fun!”
Reviewed September 13, 2012

My family & I spent a day exploring Angel Island. We first took the tram, an open air scenic ride that tells you all the history while showing you the island. I highly recommend this. They have bikes for rent, segways, & scooters. Great little cafe, and the ferry is so fun to ride. The views are gorgeous as you can see everything! Go! You will be so glad you did. You can check out all the info online before you go to.
