The location on a beautiful golf course is great! I stayed for two nights. The room was tired.... Paint chipping, dirty grout in bathroom, shower not working well and dirty carpet. The dining room was being remodeled and all food was served in a banquet room. The floor in that dining area was filthy dirty.... Food should not have been served in those conditions..... Makes me wonder what the kitchen looked like. I only ate one meal there.
Very expensive for a dirty rundown room! I would not recommend nor stay there again.

Stayed for a wedding and it was overpriced with terrible service in my opinion. We stayed 2 nights and the room didn't get cleaned the entire time. We complained and the housekeeping woman showed up at noon on Sunday to apologize. I had my sister with us who translated for me because she claimed not to understand English too well. Half an hour later I heard another staff member speaking to her in English and she seemed to understand her perfectly well. All in all, for spending $260+ per night, I was incredibly disappointed. Won't be returning.

Dear willard97,

I would like to apologize for both the poor service and cleanliness of your room; this is inexcusable and not something that I take lightly. I have addressed your comments with our Housekeeping Manager. Having inconvenienced you and affected your stay so negatively is by no means the distinct, personalized service we strive to provide our guests at Temecula Creek Inn.

I hope that you will contact me directly to further discuss the details of your stay. I can be reached at (951) 587-1476 or CBurkhart@jcresorts.com.

This hotel is in a beautiful location surrounded by maple and pines trees. We didn't play the golf course but a lot of others guests did and it looked well maintained. It's just a 10 minute drive to Old Town Temecula where there are lots of fun restaurants, bars with live music and shopping. The staff at the front desk wasn't the friendliest that I've ever encountered and there were a few maintenance and cleaning issues with our room. For example, the handle was broken on the sliding screen door that lead out to the balcony. The carpeting in our room had some large visible stains. One of the white washcloths in the bathroom had some set in bright orange stains on it and neither the soap nor the lotion was replenished after the room was cleaned. We ordered breakfast from the hotel restaurant and it was average at best. This hotel would certainly benefit from some updating and upgrading. I would have to agree with another reviewer's overall assessment that this hotel is "comfortably adequate."

Room Tip: Third floor has balconies and view of the golf course and surrounding mountains. Call hotel directly...

This hotel is fine even for non-golfers though there is alot of golfing to be had there in a pretty setting. The king resort room was large and well appointed. I did think that the tub/shower and toilet could probably use a makeover though. The AC worked very well on this hot day/night. We went there as first-timers especially for the brewery tour package that they offered with Brewery Tours of Temecula. That was great! The little tour bus came right to the lobby door to pick us up and take us to three local breweries for tastings. The tour guide was fun and educational to boot, and we didn't have to think about driving after all the tastings because the bus took us right back to the hotel.
The hotel restaurant is in a makeover right now so meals were served in a banquet room. That was not great but the food was ok. Breakfast ok. Dinner - burgers were expensive but actually quite good. Very nice front desk folks - very helpful!
We'll probably go back in another time of year to try out the hotel in non-summer and take in a few more Temecula offerings.

Room Tip: Rooms are in several seperate buildings. If you want to be near the pool, ask for that because it...

We had a problem with the room package that we purchased, however, they made it right to the utmost of our satisfaction. I would recommend this hotel for anyone for the high level of customer service that they delivered.

Room Tip: You can get a pretty nice view of the golf course from the second floor.

Our two night stay mid August was comfortable. Room 244 is a king and very spacious with all sufficient amenities, good aspect, and maybe a little close to the spa to hear conversations. Decor is quite tasteful, the room was clean and evidence of updating is appreciated. There are some tired areas and fittings/fixtures on a building of this age, but it really does not detract from the accommodation.
All staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. Our attention was to the golf course for the two days unlimited golf which we thoroughly enjoyed. That review may be found on greenskeeper online community.
We did not try the F&B except for one breakfast which was very delicious, prepared nicely, served professionally. We bought a 'breakfast package' which, for $12, is exceptional value.
Overall the property has strong points, is a good venue for a trip, and worth a look with a deal.

Room Tip: Second floor preferred. Closer to the lobby building is closer to the pool. Nearer the pro shop is n...
