“A nice place to shop”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

We spent the day walking down Front St. poking in and out of shops. We were looking for some furnishings and garden art. We were disappointed to see two large garden shops closed, but that's the breaks I suppose. Lots of antique and consignment shops with interesting things to see and buy.

“Lots of little shop”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

Lots of little shops and restaurants. Nice to strol down the main drag. Stopped for a olive oil and balsamic tasting and Jerky.

“Something to do but not spectacular”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

We enjoyed walking up and down the main street and particularly liked the olive oil tastings along the way. That said, many of the shops closed by 5:30 PM on Friday, leaving the restaurants as the only game in town. The city hall is impressive both by day and night.

“Cute but....”
Reviewed February 5, 2013

Very touristy, expensive shopping. Cute historic buildings. However, you should know that most stores don't open until 11:00.

“If you like old western towns...”
Reviewed February 5, 2013

...take time to walk through old town Temecula, complete with antique shops, Indian traders, the old historic jailhouse, retail stores and restaurants. The downtown area has undergone a major revitalization with new buildings, including a city hall complex, but the old western feel of the main street has been kept intact. It is worth a few minutes of your time for a nice stroll down history's lane.
