I like their wines. They are not the best Temecula has to offer, but it's located in a beautiful place. The atmosphere is awesome. The people who work there are very friendly and knowledgeable. This is usually the first stop on my wine tour of Temecula.

Great spot during the week for some wine tasting down stairs. An even better view of the valley from the Club Members spot on the upstairs semi enclosed deck. All the wines are good especially the Reserve Chardonnay. I usually go to the Meritage for lunch afterwards as they have a great chef that prepares some very good dishes. One disappointment yesterday was that they have discontinued service at the bar. What a shame.

Compared with some of the other winery restaurants in the area, this one is lacking in views and restaurant atmosphere. There is a lot of cement, the tables are close to one another, and there is nothing warm or cozy or even nice about it.

What the restaurant lacks in character and views it makes up for in service. Our server was outstanding and the food was certainly better than average.

I prefer the small personal service wineries myself. If you like the big flashy overly crowded hip places, Then this is the place for you. This is definitely a mass production winery. It was very difficult to get a place at the bar to even begin the tasting. I like sweet wines so we ended up taking home a bottle of the Muscat Canelli. The grounds are beautifully kept with great views and very clean. They had what looked like a nice restaurant, but around the restaurant area there was a terrible smell. We were thinking about having lunch outside on the patio there, but the smell deterred us.
