Absolutely gorgeous property

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Aug 13, 2019
This resort is top-notch from just about every perspective. The hotel rooms are beautiful, the casino has everything you would expect to see in a casino, the staff are friendly, the pools are amazing and the golf course is also one of the best I've ever seen (although I didn't get a chance to play it). Food court has great variety for quick dining, and the prices are reasonable. Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful very well thought out resort. So much to do. Comfortable rooms, great restaurants and an amazing spa for pampering. If you like to golf, they have the most adventurous golf course with beautiful views. We had a great time.

We stayed here for three nights choosing the resort due to its large pool complex. The pool area is, indeed, very nice with separate adult pool and hot tub and separate family and children’s pools. We were disappointed to learn that the large pool (the Cove) will be closed for one of our three days due to a private party. There is a smaller pool on the third floor of one of the hotel towers but we definitely felt we did not receive full value. The resort has a dozen or more restaurants and a very large casino.

I think this is a beautiful resort and while I've only been here 3 times prior, this time we actually stayed for the first time (long weekend) in August.
PROS:
Considering the extremely hot weather outside, everything inside was a perfect cool temperature.
The water in the pool also perfect, not too hot not too cold.
The bartenders at the pool bar were super friendly.
Even though it was crowded, there seemed to be plenty of room for everyone at the pool area.
We ate in several different restaurants and only one had great Service: The Golf Course restaurant!
The room was large, clean and comfortable. We were in the #2 tower on the Resort side.
We had a fun at the Blondie more concert.
We saw Don Friesen at the comedy club and he was hysterical and the seating was very roomy instead of crammed in like sardines in other comedy clubs. 2 drinks minimum.
I liked that over the whole weekend no one was too drunk, rowdy, or obnoxious.. made for a fun as well as relaxing visit.
CONS:
There are definitely NOT enough video poker machines.. just one small section that is very smokey.
The buffet was by far one of the worst I've ever been to and was $30+..They had beef ribs that were all completely burnt to a crisp, soggy crab legs so soft it was difficult to remove the crab meat because we couldn't even crack the shells. Mediocre service.

This is a nice hotel and it is quite pricey and that is exactly what I expect from a 4 diamond hotel. What I don't expect is bad customer service and that is exactly what we have encoutered multiple times. This is why we no longer visit this hotel.

Room tip: Harrah's casino down the road is much better.

We loved Vegas, but it’s become expensive and run down. Here’s a great alternative. The pool area was great. Many different pools. An adult pool with a swim-up bar, family pool with great slide and a few smaller side ones. There was a check in process so if you’re not staying there you can’t get in. No outside food or drinks, but the service was good.
We ate dinner at Kelsey’s restaurant and the food was outstanding. The prices were reasonable.
Gambling is gambling. We contributed just like we do in Vegas! Lots of different types of games to play. The entire property was huge. We had been to other Indian Casinos and this one was really large, very clean and lots of new areas.
Give it a try,

Room tip: Best views are probably Mountain View rooms that will look toward pool area.
