“Great and relaxing mini vacation”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 10, 2013

Hubby and I went to Pechanga to celebrate our 45th anniversary. We chose a hotel/spa package for out 4 day stay. Upon arrival they upgraded our room to a mini suite with its own jacuzzi and a view to die for. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and immaculate. The spa package included a European massage for two, the wonderful room, and several discounts for in-house restaurants. The price we paid for all this (not to mention the casino) was amazingly low. All employees were very nice and accommodating to us and exceeded all expectations. We had a very relaxing and fun time and we can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: Chances of getting upgraded are much better mid week. Ask for corner room with jacuzzi.

I give this casino 5 stars for cleanliness ONLY. This is the cleanest casino I've ever been in and I've worked in casinos for years.

The floors, machines, restrooms are spotless. Everything shines and sparkles. Casino smells wonderfully clean.

This place is huge huge huge.....prepare to walk.

Great selection of machines, nice non-smoking section. Plenty of restaurants and large food court.

The reason I gave this place 3 stars is because they treat their employees like crap. I know people that work/worked here and they are all treated like dirt.

The slot machines are not loose and the payback is terrible. Be prepared to bring $$$$ with you because they have very minimal low denomination machines here. Most of the machines here are $1, $2 and up.

The parking garage is not attached to the casino so you will have to walk outside before entering the casino.

Very nice poker room (upstairs), and good amount of table games.

Room Tip: Go to Pala or Harrah's

The cigarette stench in this place is absolutely overwhelming. Even as you check in you can smell it as it wafts over from the casino area. Place needs much better ventilation and air filtration system. I was coughing for days after stay. The rooms were okay. Had dinner at the upscale asian restaurant (not the casual noodle place) and the menu was very diverse. Food was good but not spectacular. Service was excellent. Only problem was Pechanga was having systems issues with their computers so not able to get a second drink. GO FOR THE GOLF! The team at the pro shop, course and snack bar are service oriented. The practice area is a golfer's dream! The best I have ever experienced. Make sure you allocate plenty of time (hours if you can) to take advantage of it. The course is lovely and we all enjoyed the challenge. BEST golf carts ever - bucket seats! Comfortable and well-maintained. Nice selection of product in the pro shop. Snack bar has a fabulous breakfast burrito. No cart service so load up on drinks at the snack bar before you head out!

Go to the spa and get a massage. They are great. BUT, get one with Julie, and upgrade to the 90 minute. My wife and I really enjoy how thorough and great Julie does the massage. Excellent music. Low lights. Very professional.

First time guest here.

Could not figure out where to hotel self park. No easy access to a sidewalk or path from the self park lot to the hotel entrance.

The casino/resort was peaceful and clean. Our first room had a loud rattling noise in the air vent blower so I called the front desk to see if there were any other rooms available. The bellhop came up within five minutes to bring us to another room on the same floor. This room had issues with the TV not working because (somehow) the cables in the back and front of the TV were unplugged/rearranged and I could not figure it out on my own because of their entirely custom digital setup. Someone arrived within about 15 minutes to take care of it.

THEN, at 8am the next morning, we were abruptly awaken by chairs and tables being dragged and slammed on the floor in the party/banquet room above our heads. So, another call to the front desk. They stopped for about 10 minutes then did some more, I just ran out of patience.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The casino had some nice - and oddly relaxing - bar areas.

The floor girls only served non alcoholic beverages and soft drinks and they only accepted cash; however, she was very polite and helped me find the nearest ATM so I could retrieve cash to pay her.

My casino slot membership card only worked about 1 in 30 tries which was very annoying.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms directly below the banquet hall floors.

The hotel is very nice - rooms are a good size and comfortable. My only issue is that even though there is no smoking in the lobby area the smoke still seeps through and especially if you want to eat at any of the restaurants.

Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Will I stay again? Not sure we stay sometimes as family lives in Temecula but the smoke was probably more than we want to deal with - too bad as it is a nice hotel.

We were on a road trip in California and decided to stay for two nights at this resort and casino. The place is immaculate. Large casino area, with many restaurants and a food court to choose your meals from. Golf course, spacious pool area, several night clubs are all available. The location is great. A large new shopping mall is nearby as are many other restaurant venues. The scenery is fabulous with the mountains surrounding the area. Employees of the resort were all very friendly and helpful.

We ate at the Cafe twice for the breakfast buffet. It was $11.95 and included adequate tasty food and orange juice and coffee or tea. We also ate at the Italian place in the food court. Had the lasagne and pizza and it was very good and fairly priced.

We really enjoyed ourselves and would love to return another time. For those who complain about the slots.....I do not know of any casinos who are paying out a lot in these economic times. You just need to pick your machines and play what you feel you can afford to play. We actually won several hundred dollars, which was more than I expected.

Room Tip: Rooms on the higher levels will probably experience no internet signal and if you stay on the weeken...
