A great menu selection sure to please any hungry family. The service is prompt and attentive, something that starts from the top down. What makes this restaurant works while many of Temecula's franchises are struggling is the the owner herself. Yes- Mo. She rapidly oversees every order that passes out of the traditional short-order cooks' window. Mind you this is a well attended breakfast joint, not a 4 star restaurant. I rated this a 5 because Mo's does everything a diner should do well, very well. If you what surf and Turf go to the Oak Room at the casinos. But if you are seeking a classic breakfast Mo's works. Prices are reasonable and food is plentiful. You may decide to split a plate. I suggest the Fresh fruit french toast platter.
The fact that this place is on the commercial side of the freeway (West) make this a preferred choice in my book. It's only one mile North of old town and far enough away from the mall rats and Temecula's endless traffic to make the trip worthwhile. Don't let the wait and lines detour you, just come belly up to the counter with me. The service is always the best and you never know who you just might meet.

We can see why. They were fast and it was delicious! When we first arrived, we were scared by the long line of people waiting outside. But it was also a good sign that people were willing to wait for its breakfast. We got lucky and sat down right away because we were willing to sit at the bar stools and there just happened to be two spots free next to each other.
Good quick service, nice fresh coffeecake dripping with a sugar glaze. Ordered multigrain pancakes. They were very good. This is a family friendly, kid-friendly restaurant. It's buzzing with conversation and it's very busy in there. What's nice is that the waitstaff was friendly and they all seemed to know who their regulars were. Always nice to discover places like this where all the locals like to go.

We found this place on tripadvisor and stopped in for breakfast because it was so highly rated. It was almost full when we got there but the hostess made eye contact as soon as we stepped inside and seated us. Whenever a table became empty the staff raced over to clear and clean the table for the next patron. And when we were ready to leave there was no one line to pay and we were helped immediately. Also the menu was extensive.

Overall we were not impressed with the food. It was too noisy for us and the super efficient staff made the place feel hectic.

The line out the door should tell you something good is cooking inside. With reservations, we were seated promptly, and immediately we were each delivered a piece of warm crumb-cake--compliments of the house! No matter what combination you wanted to make (and our group of 4 came up with several), the staff and chefs did it with a smile. Prompt, meticulous service, with a very family -- but professional atmosphere. Mo was standing behind the counter sorting orders, bring out dishes, busing the tables, taking up dishes, and running the payments. Mind you, it was just as needed -- because no matter who your server, this was one of the best teams I have seen. Anybody working the place would offer to refill your coffee or water, bring you something you asked for, or take away an empty dish to create more space. The serving sizes were ample without leaving any to waste. The food was tasty, well prepared, and exactly as ordered -- delivered to the right person without asking questions. I only wish Mo could be cloned. Clearly, this Egg is way before the chicken. All breakfast chain restaurant owners should come by to learn something about camaraderie and how to set a great example by management for the rest of the team to emulate.

This was the first time I ate here after living in the area for 6 years. I am mad at myself for not eating there sooner. It was fantastic. The service was terrific, the portions were HUGE. The place is super busy and that is always a great sign. Very country eclectic. You sit down and they offered us each a piece of complimentary coffee cake, which was yummy. The coffee was good, the corned beef hash was very good, the waffle I ate was awesome. You will not be disappointed at all if you eat here. I will definitely be back...
