“Wonderful food”

We ate at Wilson Creek because our friends, who are "locals" , took us "to the best place for lunch in the whole area." They chose well because the food was wonderful. I had a salad which included mulberries, something I had never eaten before, and it was wonderful. My wife's salmon salad included an enormous portion of salmon and was absolutely delicious. The outdoor setting is beautiful and following the lunch with a little visit to the wine tasting room made for a perfect experience.

“Family friendly”

Love the atmosphere here! This visit was with our friends and children. Park at the bottom for the kids to play on, lots of green space to relax or let the kids play. Other wineries there is not a lot of bar space but on the weekends Wilson's has three( one is members only ). Servers are friendly and the almond champagne and sangria are great. Plus their golden retrievers are roaming around to cuddle with. Beautiful picture spots all over also.

“Not impressed”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2014

This is one of those places where you feel obligated to stop because of the name. The place itself is stunning! The grounds are well landscaped and the presentation is beautiful. I'm just not a fan of the wines. This was the only winery I went to where they counted a tasting even if I only took a small sip and hated it. I told our server that I only enjoy sweet/desert wines but I didn't like any of them here. I also noticed because my mother-in-law loves the almond champagne, it was so much more expensive to purchase a bottle at the winery then at the stores. If you enjoy Wilson Creek wine then you should stop by but it costs $15 per person for 5 tastings. Other wineries charge $15 for 6 tastings, some will waive the fee if you purchase a bottle, but not Wilson Creek.

“One of two of the hotspots in Temecula! Oh yeh Champagne Slushies!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2014

Very large and crowded. You pay for your ticket outside and then set your sites on the bar of your choice. There was a lovely rocking chair on the back patio to do wine tasting and watch the World Cup. They serve champagne slushies as well at outdoor bar. Here is the rub....on a hot day it will melt very fast. So if it is hot...just get a glass of champagne. Cheers!

Beautiful grounds, so relaxing, excellent wines and choices. Tasting is $15 for 5 samples. Peach Bellini is a good choice as is the pinot noir and the sirah I really enjoyed this visit!
