“Thank You Cody!”

We had a brunch at Wilson Creek, and generally the restaurant is a nice place but our server Cody
was not up to our expectation. After a $258 bill we paid $300 cash, and he did not return the receiipt and change. He assumed we paid the $42 as a tip above our bill. We would not mind to pay for the service a decent tip, but this treatment seams to be unprofessional.
Never again to see this place again.

“Quality, Equality, Well Maintained, and Affordable!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 12, 2014

Wilson Creek is fantastic. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and the wines are DELICIOUS! The real star of Wilson Creek is the customer service. Of course everyone knows about the famous Almond Champagne.

My fiancé and I are in the process of looking for a wedding venue and this tops our list. We made an appointment and scheduled a tour with Wendy Holder, who spent quite a long time with us and showed us around the facility and provided answers and solutions to all of our questions, plus wine, which is always welcome.

We asked if they do a lot of gay weddings (equality and inclusivity are important to us as a gay couple)and she informed us that they already have 4 on the books this year. I also learned that they work with LGBT organizations promote their brand and even set up their brand at various Pride events in Southern California. We felt extremely comfortable and almost booked on the spot, but decided not to be irrational! We are marrying next summer.

We then had lunch at the restaurant (be sure and make a reservation, this place can fill up by the minute) and the food is fresh and tasty. I recommend pairing a sandwich or salad with the "Yes Dear" Chardonnay (my favorite).

For the people who call Wilson Creek "touristy", YOU'RE RIGHT! There's a reason for this. Nothing starts out touristy, and this became a tourist destination because of quality, guest service, and affordability. I call it the "Disneyland of Wineries".

If you get a chance, ask for a tour of some of the cellars or barrel rooms (I'm not sure what these are called).

Most of the wines and sparkling wines are of a lighter variety. If you want a bold red, this may not be your place, although the Duet is a close contender and very drinkable.

This has become one of my favorite destinations in Temecula and a probable venue for my wedding. No one who works there is in a rush, everyone is laid back, informative and just....nice. "Easy" is probably the word I would use to describe everything about this place, the wine, the grounds, the employees.

As far as price, it is comparable with other places in the area. It isn't less or more expensive.

Overall, I say give Wilson Creek a try. Say hello to Wendy! She may tip the bottle a little more for ya ;)

Went to the winery with my family. We had a great time. It was the day after Christmas and it was slow but very comfortable place to hang out for an afternoon.

“Our favorite winery in California!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 21, 2014

We have been to Wilson Creek 3 times now and every time we fall in love with it more and more. We had brunch at Wilson Creek's Creekside Grill, which is absolutely amazing, and picnicked and wine tasted to our heart's content. Wilson Creek has a great family feel and the Wilson Creek family even comes down to visit with their golden retrievers and pet pig!

Check out our post for more tips on making beautiful memories at Wilson Creek, photos included! Cheers :)
