The winery is a must see for anyone visiting Temecula Wine Country! I have come to Wilson Creek a few times before and recently discovered Champagne Slushies! They are delicious and are available in three flavors - must try if you enjoy champagne! They offer both red and white wines (both dry and sweet) but my favorites are the champagnes. The staff is knowledgeable and welcoming. My only suggestion is to try and avoid coming on the weekend - it gets very crowded!

“Make Wilson Creek Winery your first stop - you may never leave!”
Reviewed September 6, 2011

We went with friends on a limo with an afternoon of planned of wine tasting. Wilson Creek Winery was our first and only stop of the day - absolutely fantastic. The winery is absolutely stunning rivaled only by their incredible wine tasting portfolio and their friendly and knowledgeable staff. There are more than enough tasting stations to get the personal attention you'd expect from a best in class winery. We were tempted by their reserve wines and were treated to a delectable dessert wine served in decadent chocolate mini shot glasses - sip and nibble. Once near the end - you pour a splash of Almond champagne and finish it off - wickedly good.

We finished off our wine tasting and a tour of the grounds with a wonderful late lunch at their Creekside Grille! No one in our party of 10 was disappointed - there was something for everyone!

When visiting Temecula for a day of wine tasting, definitely make Wilson Creek Winery your first stop - it may well be your only stop!

“Another Spot for a Daycation”
Reviewed August 16, 2011

After joining a wine tour led by John, a sommelier in Wilson Creek Winery and Vineyards on July 16, my husband and I signed up for the wine club. The winery is relatively small but we were caught by their story about how the business began and the unceasing progress that they employ. They didn't shrivel like grapes in spite of all the sweltering challenges that they have gone through. It is a tale of perseverance and courage.

The restaurant, Creekside Grille, also serves delicious calamari and seasonal fish that's grilled to perfection. I like the free bread that comes with some sort of marinara dip. That was a savory surprise! Of course, you cannot miss the almond champagne. Coming to this place is so wonderful and it's even pretty close to San Diego and LA.

We received yesterday, 8/15, our share from the wine club: 2009 Estate Chardonnay, 2007 Family Meritage (red), and my favorite Almond Champagne. They ship wines to club members every other month. Cheers!
