“Great time”
Reviewed January 14, 2013 via mobile

Our first stop, could have stayed all day. Wines were terrific, Donna started out pouring our tastes, ended up taking us all around the grounds. Her personalized attitude and knowledge of their wines made for a delightful afternoon. We told her of our preference for white wines, and she walked us through all of their different wines, and we ended up buying a lot of delicious reds, she was that good! Highly reccomend!

“Incredibly good”
Reviewed January 2, 2013 via mobile

Been to Temecula for wine tasting several times and finally stopped at Wiens Family Cellars. The grounds are beautiful, perfect for picnics. The inside is just as nice. It's 15 bucks per person for 6 tastes. Our pourer was great and very knowledgeable about every wine we tasted. We stuck to reds. Every single red we tried was very good. There were a few new releases that if you let age a bit more would be very nice. We tried a red called Crowded. My husband and I both loved this wine. So much so that we purchased a few bottles on the spot. Wiens has great quality wines which means a pretty darn good winemaker. This winery in terms of good quality wines is right up there with some great wineries in Napa Valley and Central Valley. . If you are in Temecula I recommend That you definitely stop at Wiens. It's definitely worth it.

“Well priced and organized tasting room”
Reviewed December 26, 2012

Ariving late afternoon in Temecula from Arizona, we hit the Wiens Tasting room after seeing the crowded parking lot and noticed they stay open until 5pm. Very well organzied with the register directly at the door to purchase the $15 wine tasting experience that included six tastings and an engraved wine glass. Wine tasting room had a large gift shop and a roaring fire that was much appreciated on a chilly December day.

Thank you Wiens for the great experience when we visited last week. We appreciate the time you spent with us during our wine tasting. It is definately a plus to visit during the week when it is not as crowded. We truly enjoyed the experience and look forward to receiving your great wines in our wine club.

“Good start to our day”
Reviewed December 2, 2012

My wife and I drove up from San Diego to spend a day in Temecula wine country. We had a list of 5 wineries was wanted to hit and we only made it to 3 as we spent so much time here.

It's a rude awakening when it's $15/person for tasting. It's been while since we've tasted outside our home state and it was a little surprising. But we paid and noticed the tasting bar was full. We eventually found a spot and settled in. We happened to be next to a member and he helped us through the wine list along with the Wien worker.

We had a great time. Very good wine. After some consideration we are now members. We live no where near CA but thought it was worth it. We'll back in the area in January '13 so it gives us an excuse to use our membership to it's potential.

We didn't feel any pressure to join the club. In fact, we brought it as our tasting was coming to an end.
