Irvine and order one of everything - you can't possibly provide a comprehensive picture. Instead, I give you three little words. Pumpkin Curry Shrimp. We selected King of Siam based on TA reviews and a desire for some freshly prepared food at the end of a day traveling the winding golden back roads of California. On an unprepossessing corner of a strip mall that might have been in anywhere USA ... We had a very nice, worth going back for, relaxing and delicious meal. A large lovely bowl filled with creamy, silky, spicy red curry full of small bites of tender Kabocha pumpkin, peas, sweet red pepper, onion and big pink shrimp. Lots of them. Gorgeous. And so good that I had to save some for breakfast. My husband had shrimp and vegetables in a spicy garlic chili sauce. Perfectly crisp tender and delicately seasoned. As good or better than his previous favorite Thai. We started the night with the fresh spring rolls ( while making our choices.). They were light and flavorful with peanut sauce and a sweet/hot chili sauce on the side. That and three glasses of wine set us back about $45. Plus tip. On the way out of town early the next morning we began plotting ways to return to Tehachapi. We live in Oregon. That's how good the Pumpkin Curry Shrimp is.
