Rooms are beautiful, spotlessly clean and well maintained! Modern appliances, fully stocked kitchens, with rustic and unique furnishings. Everything you could possibly need... just like home. Erin and Kelly couldn't have made us feel more welcomed! Friendly and professional, making sure all our needs and special requests were taken care of right away. They hosted several resort activities (pancake breakfast, hot toddy afternoon, pine cone art) which made our stay even more fun! Swimming pool, hot tubs, BBQ's, and of course, being located right on the shore of Lake Tahoe! Just lovely!

Second time staying here. Amazing location on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. Beautiful rocky and sandy beach with pier. Rooms are clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. My kids also enjoy all the afternoon activities they have there...like rock and pine cone decorating. We will definitely be back!

Room Tip: try to get as close to the lake as you can, the rooms by the road could have traffic noise

This was our second stay at Red Wolf. There are plenty of timeshare resorts in Lake Tahoe, but of the several we have stayed at, this is by far our favorite. It is right on the shore of Lake Tahoe and the views are spectacular. We were fortunate enough to stay in a unit that is facing the lake. The unit is cozy, clean and well appointed. There are less than 30 units at Red Wolf so you never feel lost or overwhelmed. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Erin and Kelly in the office make sure that every guest is made to feel at home. Whatever one needs, they make sure of it. Even housekeeping and maintenance go the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. The location is excellent only a short drive to Northstar skiing, the wonderful town of Truckee and Reno is a 35 mile drive.
Red Wolf is located in North Lake Tahoe which has some wonderful restaurants, yet it is not the busy tourist-driven section of the area like South Lake Tahoe. If you are planning a trip to the Sierras and Lake Tahoe is your destination, there is no place better than RedWolf Lakeside Lodge.

Room Tip: Every unit is good, but the lakeside units are the newest and have the best views.

Loved the location and the grounds. When we checked in it was around 6:30 P.M on Sunday night so everyone was gone, we picked up a phone got a code to a lock and dug thru about 10 envelopes before we found ours. The decoration of the units is very nice and the fireplace was very nice. The bathroom was dirty and had hair on the floor when we checked in. The bathroom and kitchen floor was rock so It was cold and hard to tell if it was actually clean. We had a leak in our bathroom tub faucet but was fixed as soon as we called about it. There was an Air Compressor in a storage room that was attached to our room that would turn on for about 2 minutes each day that we noticed, sometimes in the morning and others at night. It was so loud it woke us up the first night and each time it turned on it shook the wall to the bathroom. Overall the resort location was the best part of the stay.

Room Tip: Room 20 has some sort of Air Compressor noise every day.

what a wonderful place. wasn't exactly sure what to expect but we had a truly wonderful stay.

very very clean - not the "fake" kind of hotel clean but really clean! the cabin was very well equipped with everything you will need - pots, pans, plates, utensils - it was all there.

check in was very easy as well. very pleasant front desk.

we were so close to the beautiful shore and what view. we loved waking up to see the sunrise and skipping stones.

we were very nearby northstar and mount rose as well.

i really can't have a negative thing to say here. will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Loved the cabin decor with a great lakeside location. Quiet. Nice day one orientation to local attractions and events. Easy to walk to local beaches and shopping.
Very pleasant staff. Full kitchen even though the room was a studio. Limited parking though so plan ahead.
