We've been coming back (and back) for ten years. This is one of our favorite places in the whole world. First, Sutter Creek itself is a wonderful cozy respite from the rest of California. The Sutter Creek Inn's location can't be beat for enjoying the small town pleasures. We totally enjoy the employees of the Inn; some have been there for the entire ten years we've been coming. The only itsy bitsy downside is that the room amenities are on the shabby side. From what I've been told, the owner is a bit on the cheap side about sheets, towels, paint, carpet. But lately her daughter has taken over and you can see the difference.
