I want to start by saying that I did really enjoy the food that I got from this restaurant. everything about the food screamed authenticity. But the downside to this is that it comes at a very high cost. I think it was about 16 bucks for an medium sized pizza. if you're looking for some luxury food or wanting to know what real italian food tastes like I would definitely recommend it, but if you're eating on the cheap or looking for a place with an amazing atmosphere I would not say I could recommend it.

in short, great food. expensive prices.

Hi Genie, Thanks for the great review on our authentic italian food. We work really hard to make everything from scratch and all the recipes have been handed down from my first generation Italian American grandfather. Regarding our prices, we serve a 12 inch medium pizza with San Felice flour imported from Italy. We use Buffalo Mozzarella also imported from Italy. We use only the finest San Marzano tomatoes from Italy and Alta Cucina tomatoes from Stanislaus Tomato Company in California. Despite all that, our medium 12 inch two topping is $ 13. Our speciality pizzas cost $ 16 for a 12 inch medium. Our large pizzas are 16 inches and they top out at $ 20 unless someone really adds a lot of extras. The franchise pizzerias in town charge $ 19 for a medium two topping 12 inch pizza. The franchise pizzerias call their 16 inch pizzas "extra large" and they are in the range of $ 26 for what we charge $ 20. We have done our best to keep our prices as low as we can and still keep the doors open and continue to employ our friends and neighbors. Thanks again for the review, boun appetito, Mark

Traveling from Bellingham Wash., true stone oven pizza. The raviolis, tirmisu, everything handmade, the best in Cali and a few other states n countries. Super helpful and friendly staff all with smiles. Looks like this family run, friends and neighbors pizza joint is rockin !

We have ate at this restaurant a few times. It has been very good every time. The ravioli is hand made and the pizza is as good as we have ever had. Space is a little tight tho.

Thanks for the kind words Grand Wazoo! We take a lot of pride in our daily homemade raviolis and our stone oven pizzas. We use only the finest flour imported from Italy and San Marzano tomatoes also from Italy. Cooking fine food in a former Dominos store front is a challenge that we tackle daily. We are up to it! thanks again, boun appetito, Mark

This place is our new favorite. We've ordered food here numerous times and have never been disappointed. The walk-in ordering during peak hours can result in some waiting but certainly no worse than most 'sit-down' places. Waiting can be eliminated by phoning in orders. All the employees have been very friendly and provide stellar service. The taste and quality of the food rivals most places we've eaten at in our recent trip to Italy. People who find this place lacking should stick to fast food burgers. Hoping they'll get a place where they can provide indoor seating so we can enjoy the total dinning experience.

Wow! Thanks so much for the wonderful review. Sharing the passion of my grandfather's recipes and the breadth of cuisine of Italia is so fulfilling it is like coming full circle. Once I found my grandfathers village, Olevano Romano, and walked the stone walkways, I knew my destiny was in continuing the legacy and tradition of Marco Gelsamino. We are certainly looking hard for a facility where we could provide the total dining experience. One of the greatest parts of my day is deciding which chef's choice ravioli I want to make for you, my friends. Seems the chicken pesto sun dried tomato and artichoke heart rav was well recieved. Perhaps next a garlic butter shrimp ravioli? Thanks again for the review and I look forward to seeing you both again soon. boun appetito, Mark
