“My stay at Sheraton in Sunnyvale”
Reviewed August 8, 2012

1) Sheraton is a big Name and services should also be big. For example, most of the hotel guests I encountered in my 2 months stay at this hotel were businessmen. That means they work hard during the day and they want to rest their back and finish up whatever work is left while relaxing on their beds. However, due to lack of power outlets for their laptops, they are/will be forced to continue sitting on the desk hence abusing their body. The remedy is to either install these outlets near the beds (expensive) or change all lamps with dual power outlets built-in (cheapest).
2) Need small refrigerators in every rooms so that people have cold drinks
3) Need small microwave ovens in every rooms

Other than these issues, staff is exceptional, especially VIP Lounge, Gabriela R. and Luke are incredible employees. Everyone at the fron desk are incredible, kind and takes care of their customers with smile.

I love the beds, they are very comfortable, rooms are big. I thank you for your great hospitality. But please correct the above 3 issues and everyone's stay will be pleasant and the RTO will be very short.

Best regards,

Room Tip: Even though it is a hassle I always prefer the top floor rooms and away from the door entrances.

Booked adjoining rooms with wife and 3 kids. Pullout bed was in our room upon arrival (2 kings beds were only available). Staff was very polite and helpful. Pool and hot tub are fantastic and we had a nice breakfast the following morning. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Our room was not ready by the official check in time, let alone early as we had hoped. Nice room. Clean. Good quick internet. Nice gym. The Club was a bit minimal on breakfast, and none for Sunday but no warning of that...a last minute dash to a good breakfast in their restaurant though. I think they were too busy to juggle everything despite good efforts.

Very good hotel to stay with. Spacious rooms as per international standards. The location where the hotel is situated is not very attractive as there are not stores, Shops, Recreational areas near by and Public Transport station is also a bit far. The Staff is helpful and supportive but there are most of things which are self service. You will have to carry your luggage on your own to the room and if u have loads of them, make sure to ask for room in Ground floor as there are no elevators since they are just Ground + 1 Storey buildings.
There is a Pool with Warm water as most of times its cold climate. There is also a Gym. There is an in-house Restaurant and Bar but very few options for Vegetarian and unfortunately no other restaurants near by. The area is not very lively and is almost off after 7 p.m.

I stayed at this hotel for more than 10 days in June 2012, and I can easily say this was one of the most pleasurable stays in a very very long time. It started from the welcoming to the last day checkout, everything was perfect. The guest service team excelled in attending to my needs and fantastic service in the restaurant. Would love to come back and stay here, any time.

I thought the hotel facilities were nice. I didn't expect to carry my luggage upstairs due to no elevator. Doesn't every hotel have to be ADA compliant? The price went way up due to the hotels in the area being full for a convention. They advertised $86 a day and it went up to $252 a night. They even charged extra for internet access! Finally, when I lost a copy of my receipt and needed them to email or fax me a copy, I couldn't get accounting to return the call or even respond to my email. There are lots of places with comfortable beds and bedding. Service is really important.

Very comfortable rooms with very comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet is pretty standard, but you can also order a custom omelet, etc. Great customer service the whole time. Good service at the bar. Very convenient location. Right off the 101, but doesn't feel like you're staying by a highway. 5 minutes to great restaurants/bars on Murphy Ave. beautiful pool as well, and above average workout facilities. 3 new treadmills, a few ellipticals, and free weights up to 50 lbs.

Was here for business and will stay again
