Thank you for your kind words. The hotel is in transition so many rooms are renovated some are in process of getting done. Your comment about the staff and amenities are very much apreciated. We will work harder to achieve satisfactionfrom all the guests that you have expressed.

I stayed in this hotel recently and had trouble finding the hotel as the signs all said Sundowner and it was not readily apparent that it was a Days Inn.
I stayed in a room that was nice, clean and large. However, in the morning when I went to take a shower I discovered that there was no water to be obtained. I pulled, twisted and pushed but could only get a trickle. When I approached the employee at the front desk I was told too bad. He couldn't help me as I had made my reservation online though Hotels.com and he couldn't discount my stay for my "inconvenience". My whole family had to wash in the sink which only had scalding water no cold water.
I was very disapointed in this hotel.

Thank you foryour comment. The highway sign on Mathilda Avenue and at the driway entrance do show Days Inn & Suites. The roof sign is left to indicate our old hotel. We had water leak problem at the boiler and this may have contributed to your comment about availability of hot water. The plumber fixed the leak and every thing went back to normal. We are proud tro be part of Wyndham chain Days Inn & Suite and adopting to the brand standard rapidly. Please come and stay with us again and enjoy.

We spent 4 days (family of 4) in this hotel and they were completely unfriendly and not helpful. Our 2 in-room phones never worked and they did nothing to fix the problem. We constantly needed to ask for 4 towels since there were 4 of us. The carpets were filthy. One morning we came down to breakfast right at the last minute and the doors were locked. The gal working in the kitchen area unlocked the door and said we had to take our food and leave. WHAT??? We are the customers and this was horrible, nasty service. We will NEVER stay again and will never recommend this place. This owner needs major help in good customer service.

We sincerely apologize for our breakfast person's insensitivity. She has been desciplined and asked to let guest in as long as she is there after the closing time. We have been shampooing carpet infive to seven rooms per day. We are doubling up in maintenance staff to address the problems. We are changing the flooring as quickly as possible. Please come back and make a point in telling us what we can improve on.

Although the lobby was smelly, the room was not. All in all, we found the placed adequate... a bit worn looking but clean.

Mattresses were not worn out, cleanliness was good, good hot water shower in redone bathroom. Oddly enough, for energy efficiency the bathroom "heatlamp" had a new LED bulb which, while bright, gave off no heat.

Flat screen digital TV & in room Wi-Fi worked well.

Breakfast was in a small room by the pool, and featured the standard self-serve offerings... danish, do it yourself waffles, toast, bagels, juice, coffee, tea, apples & bananas, cold & hot cereal, misu, & hard boiled eggs.

Although we didn't swim, the pool looked inviting, and they have an ADA access lift for the mobility challenged.

Drive time to Stanford Hospital was 25 minutes in the am commute.

The overall quality of the hotel was good, except that our coffee maker was broken and never replaced after reporting the problem.

We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced because of in room coffee maker. We normally have extra coffee maker for the occasion when the coffee maker is mal functioning. The hotel provides hot coffee in the lobby from 6am to 11pm. If you would have asked the front desk they would have delivered the coffee to your room. Please give us a chance to serve you better. Thanks for staying with us.

We just stayed here and the rooms were wonderful and the man at the front desk was extremely helpful in giving us a place to go to dinner. After that point the stay went seriously down hill. As soon as the tour bus unloaded we were surrounded by very ignorant tourist. They were literally skating outside the rooms on the second floor. And then at least three times we had people trying to get in our room after telling them multiple times that they had the wrong room, and that was at at 10pm. Throughout the night they were so loud banging around and talking right outside our door. They then started this up again around 7am. I would have loved this place if I could have gotten a decent nights rest.

I personally like to apologize to our valued guest. We instruct the group leader, teachers and people in charge of the group that they should get every one to bed by 9:30 and we do not tolerate any noise that would disturb our guests. On several instance we had to reluctantly resort to the authorities. Please come again and enjoy our hospitality.
