“Great Mediterranean Food At A Great price”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 1, 2013 via mobile

This place is nothing fancy, but the food is really good and portions generous. The line can be long and parking tricky. Park next door at the Larkspur hotel and sit on the patio (ask them to light a heater). The swarma lamb is my favorite with hummus and feta on the side.

“Delicious and Fresh Middle Eastern Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 11, 2013

I'm always looking for good Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food and stumbled upon Dish n Dash which was within walking distance of my hotel on Mathilda Ave. in Sunnyvale.

The menu is simple. Select the wrap type you want for your Shawarma sandwich or no wrap at all. Then select your meat (Lamb, Beef, Chicken) or vegetarian (Falafel or grilled veggies), any toppings, side dishes or dessert. While simple, you can create a number of different combinations from the menu. I had a Lamb Shawarma in a fresh pita wrap with sesame tahini dressing which was excellent.

All food is made to order resulting in a very delicious, fresh meal. This location is really best suited for take-out although there are some tables to eat in. I went during lunch hour and it was very busy so I had wait about 20 minutes to get my order. However, the food was well worth the wait and I ate there on two different days of my trip.

“A Mediterranean feast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 4, 2013

A wide selection of dishes, all very good with fresh ingredient. The tabsi was very good and the Berini was made with tender chunks of beef with raisens, almonds and garbanzo beans all seasoned perfectly. You should try the Mediterranean Maza. Call ahead, it is always packed.

“Food is very good”

Not much on atmosphere and usually very crowded. Not enough room to sit inside. There is outside seating if you want that.

“Mediterranean delight”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 16, 2013

One of my favorites for desserts. Try their Jerusalem toppings.
Their desserts are great - Hot Fresh Mint Tea, Apple + Lemon + Ginger, Freshly brewed Ice Tea, Walnut Baklava, Baklava Crumble, M'halabieh

Sad, it's closed on Sundays..
