Only intended to stay one night, but this was such a great clean hotel, with a great staff we extended our stay another night. This hotel is new and is located in a revitalized marina area with many new shops and restaurants within walking distance. Jeremy at the front desk was outstanding.

Pros:
Good location, many rooms have views of sunsets and the marina.
Fantastic staff!
Clean new rooms.

Cons:
None

traveled to California to see family and decided to hotel it instead of imposing on various family members. What a "diamond in the rough" the Hampton Inn - Suisun City What a wonderful place to stay. Not only did the small town of Suisun have a lot to offer down on the waterfront, with shops and restaurants, but the area is a great place if you're traveling SFO / Sacramento or Napa Valley region.
the staff at this particular location was tremendous and certainly made us feel at Home.
I travel a lot for business and have never met a group hotel people that were so professional, helpful and friendly.
The hotel is new so it's really nice and clean.
thanks to all for making this hotel stay memorable.

My wife and I just completed a 16 day tour of Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Oregon, California, and Nevada. Without a doubt the service here was the very best. From the manager to the lady that fixed breakfast, everyone could not have been nicer. The hotel is new and is a real value.

Traveling solo by motorcycle from the Los Angeles area to Oregon, I my first stopover was at the Hampton Inn at Suisun City. Although I did not know the area , I chose the Hampton Inn since I am a Hilton Honors member. The new hotel and staff were first rate and the small town surrounding the hotel offered many excellent choices for food and drink as well as a picturesque park and harbor. The furnishings were all new and up-to-date (ie. flat screen TV) and the front desk and breakfast staff were very helpful, freindly, and courteous. It was a very pleasurable and unexpected experience.

We stayed here after reading numerous positive reviews on Tripadvisor. I have to say I was not disappointed!

I will start with all the positives. This hotel is newer and is clean. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and just top notch!!! We stayed several days so we met every one of the front desk people, the breakfast people, etc. and were always treated as special guests! The beds are comfortable and the rooms spacious. We had a wonderful waterview from our 3rd floor room. The breakfast every morning was good and was kept stocked. Depending on the day there was bacon or sausage and always eggs, fruit, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, pastries and waffles. The ladies were always cleaning tables, replenishing the food and handing out boxes of mints. Juice, hot coffee and tea were provided as well. There was plenty of seating too! It's a very nice eating area!! The pool and hot tub were wonderful and sparkling clean! The grounds are well maintained. The two elevators worked well. There are also laundry facilities. It cost $1 to wash and $1 to dry. There are two of each. They are high effeciency washers so be sure to bring the right detergent. The high speed free internet was great, too! And there were at least 4 plugs in the bathroom! One for all our hair and shaving needs! :-)

The hotel is located next to an office complex and is very convenient to the highway. There are lots of good restaraunts within walking distance. Around the marina and harbor is a very nice sidewalk. Good for a morning jog or evening stroll. It is VERY windy there. There was plenty of parking. We noticed that all the parking places in California are tiny compared to where we live but the ones at the hotel were no tinier than anywhere else we saw.

Now for the negatives....alot of them the hotel has absolutely no control over. It is more about Suisun City than the hotel. It is located near an active train station (Amtrak) so expect to hear trains at all hours of the day and night. And there are vagrants that hang out in the park nearby. They never bothered us but did make me somewhat uncomfortable when walking by. Also, there was no bathtub in our room. Just a big shower. If you need a bathtub be sure you ask about this before reserving your room!! Also there were a couple of days that our room was not even cleaned until very late in the afternoon (around 5). I found this a bit unusual. Of course it made sleeping in easier. :-) You can hear noise from the rooms next door and doors slamming. But I think that is normal for any hotel. And the streetsweeper comes by EVERY Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning around 7:00 a.m. . Not exactly what you want to hear if you are on vacation.

Overall this was a fantastic place to stay and explore from. It was convenient to Napa and the Baylink Ferry or the BART are not very far away by car (20 - 30 minutes). And there is always the train right up the road! :-) Suisun City Waterfront is like this secret hidden treasure and I hope it stays that way lest it get too crowded. So I probably shouldn't have even shared this review. :-) There were always activities going on at the park or marina. It is just a quaint and charming place. And the best part for us was it was close to Travis Air Force Base where our son is! Just about 15 minutes from the base. And if we ever get to come back to this area we will stay here again!! I recommend the Hampton Inn and Suites Waterfront in Suisun City, CA to anyone who is going to visit family at Travis or going to Napa.

Came to stay here with my family and visit friends on the 4th of July. From the moment we arrived we had first class treatment. The front desk clerk was very knowledgable of the area and made it very easy for us to plan our trip while in town. Jennifer truely made us feel like we were a part of her family and her friend. He will recommend this place to everyone we know. Not to mention the spectacular view of the fireworks from our room. it was amazing!! Thank you soo much for making our stay so memerorable! You really have such a great bunch of people working there and next time I come to the area I will not stay anywhere else!!!

Aloha to Hwaii and Mahalo for your positive comments. We team works hard to make sure that each and every guest has a great experience. I will share your compliments with the team including Jennifer.
The Waterfront District of Suisun City hosts the largest fireworks display in Solano County every 4th of July. This year we had about 20,000 visitors and it was a great evening.

Spread the word in Hawaii and please come back to visit your friends on the Suisun Waterfront the next time you return to our hidden gem.

Probably the best Hampton we have stayed at in a very long time. We appreciate the quality the Hilton Family of hotels deliver but this location went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Hotel is fairly new but what we didn't know about the area was the quality of the local "walk-up" restaurants. Great breakfast place across the harbor and one of the best sushi spots we have ever run into right across the street. 20 minutes from the Napa and a friendly, helpful staff that are at the ready to direct you to where ever you are going. Work-out room was in top shape and very clean with state of the art treadmills and TV's on each unit. Breakfast each morning is great and fresh. Legendary beds make the stay that much when you end your day with such comfort. Our next trip to California will include a few nights here. Affordable and close to wine country, well worth it.

Wow... We are so happy that you enjoyed your visit. Yes, sleeping on a Cloud 9 bed, starting your day with our free hot breakfast and then driving 20 minutes into Napa is unbeatable. The cluinary choices in the Suisun Waterfront District are plentyful and all within a 5 minute walk of the hotel.
We're happy to know that the Suisun Waterfront is making a name for itself all the way into Canada. Please stop by again the next time you'll be in our area and thank you
