“Very so-so”
Reviewed February 27, 2012

Stayed here Feb. 24-26, 2012. This room was booked by my mother without my research. Would I personally stay here again, probably not. My mother said it was at least comfortable. I travel frequently and stay at Sheratons or Holiday Inns. I knew this would be neither. The outside looks safe and not run down at least. We were in room 113. The room was very outdated. The sheets and bed spreads were stained and very worn looking. The bathroom floor didn't looked swept, corners were filthy. Everything basically looked old. Towels were so thin. The beds were comfortable at least and I did not see bed bugs. The outside door seemed so flimsy like you could just bump it open. The noise in the other rooms and especially from the 2nd floor was horrible. You could hear every moment from the ceiling. We were fortunate enough to have loud people on both sides who drank till late at night and were loud. So, sleep was not restful. Noise level in the room is not for anyone who is a light sleeper! We could not get wifi in the rooms. I saw several people bring their laptops into the lobby to connect. The computer in there was extremely slow and the printer did not work. The only good thing I could say is that the manager was the nicest man and so helpful. Checking in and checking out was excellent. The continental breakfast was always stocked with food. Basics but enough to get a day started. There are restaurants within walking distance, Denny's on one side and Marie Calendars on the other. These are practically next door. Across the street is an Applebee's and Olive Garden. Stores are close by as well. Hotel or Motel (in my eyes) is right off the freeway. Personally for a family, I would have to say try somewhere else. If you aren't looking for new or cleaner facilities and just a place to sleep, then I guess this would be ok. I think I'm just too spoiled and expect more if I'm paying for a place. I like clean, clean, comfortable places.

Room Tip: I stayed in room 113 (downstairs) I heard every single movement from upstairs. Not a room for a li...

Good hot breakfast included in price: eggs, sausage, waffles, muffins, bagels, etc. Comfy beds. Not so good: urine smell in elevator, beeping noise from nearby room every 30 seconds (expired smoke alarm battery?)

Stopped here overnight on our way back home to Oregon. Room, beds and sheets were clean and new looking but for some reason the bedspreads looked old and worn. Bathroom looked recently remodeled or something, it was pristine! I eagerly took a nice long bath. Only big complaint was the internet connection. The front desk told us the wifi doesn't really reach the rooms and we'd have to use our computer in the lobby if we wanted reliable access - or use the wired access in the rooms. We tried the wired access but could never get our computer to recognize it. We could occasionally pick up the wifi signal but it kept going out. Most motels realize that customers want wifi in their rooms! There's a Denny's nearby we walked to for dinner, which was very nice with good service. The breakfast options weren't bad: Oatmeal, waffles, english muffins, yogurts, etc.

We stayed at this hotel on our way home from our Disneyland vacation. We did not check into the lobby until 8:30 pm and stayed until 9:00 am the next morning. The staff was very accomodating and helped us with directions to our next destination. The free breakfast was nice and had a good selection. The beds were comfortable and the room was nice and clean. Some areas of Stockton were very run down and not a desirable place to stay the night. The area of Stockton where this hotel is located seemed much nicer and had great restaraunts right across the street (Olive Garden, Applebees, Carls Jr. and a grocery store). We were very satisfied with this choice.
