“Ambiance Worth the Visit?”
Review of Houlihan's

Price range: $11 - $30
Cuisines: American, Bar
More restaurant details
Restaurant details
Good for: Bar scene
Dining options: Late Night, Reservations
Dining style: Casual Dining
Cross street: US Route 101 at South Airport Blvd
Transit: Service ran by BART to South San Francisco BART Station or to SFO BART Station and take hotel shuttle.
Description: Forget 'casual dining.' That's an industry term so out of touch with how consumers eat and drink today. For premium quality and style; fare that's at times familiar and other times adventurous and a laid-back modern setting, Houlihan's is a true original.

“Ambiance Worth the Visit?”
Reviewed February 3, 2013 via mobile

The restaurant is located inside the Holiday Inn near the airport. Food was decent, but not good enough to return. I ordered the French dip. Au jus was tasty, but the beef was tasteless! The roll it was served on was one of the best I've tasted. Soft and chewy on the inside, slightly crisped on the out! My companion ordered the club club sandwich and said it was "good!"
Maybe one could go in for drinks and enjoy the ambiance?

“A Gem near the Airport in So. San Francisco: Delicious and Inventive Food”
Reviewed January 29, 2013

Great food, good service, lots of variety with unusual combinations which help to make great dining happen. The food was delicious and served very professionally in a nice quiet relaxed atmosphere. (The bar area is hopping, the drinks are generous and perfectly prepared, so travelers have a choice of quiet or lively ). Our experience there was so good in fact that we had dinner at Houlihan's the night we arrived in SFO from Connecticut and went back for our final dinner before our flight home 14 days later. That night I enjoyed the Chicken Asian Chop Chop and just was overwhelmed, delicious and HUGE. My husband enjoyed the Prime Steak grilled medium and was said it was perfect, the first night we both had the burgers, perfection on a roll.

“Great find”
Reviewed January 29, 2013

We were looking for a restaurant to eat at before turning our rental car it at SFO and being that the selection of restaurants near the airport is limited we turned into the Holiday Inn when we saw the restaurant sign. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and service here. Definitely a place where I'll stop again on my way to the rental car return at SFO.

“Convenient but not thrifty”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

Prices are typical for a hotel, i.e. a tad high. During Happy Hour with discount a mushroom appetizer and one Coors Light Beer cost over $13.

“Good food”

more bar than restaurant at night so it was too loud to stay for dinner, but ordered room service. Food was delivered quickly, hot and lots of it.
