Went to Bertolucci's for a friend's birthday dinner last Friday. This was a blast to the past in the way of decor, food style, and atmosphere. The old Italian restaurant was just what we ordered! Traditional Italian cuisine: The veal scaloppine was delicious! I hadn't had it in quite awhile (how often do you see it on a menu?) and it was served with some vegetables and polenta. The creamy polenta was so good - better than what I've made myself. They also offer soup or salad with it as well as some focaccia. All very delicious! They have a nice bar/lounge area with a delightful 3 piece jazz band. They were all so nice - the musicians, bartenders, wait staff, and maitre d'. They made us feel welcome and we would definitely return. Plus, they brought a delicious and generous slice of chocolate dessert with candles and scoop of vanilla ice cream for the birthday gal!
