“Pretty decent for an early flight”

We have stayed here a few times. The staff is usually very friendly, there is free tea and coffee available for most of the day and cookies on the counter for night. This time we checked in and were given out room keys. We went to our room and it smelly really musty. A quick call to the front desk and we were on our way to a new room. Very helpful. The meals in the restaurant are pretty good as is room service. We love staying here when we have to fly out early in the morning as its pretty convenient to the airport and there is even a gas station on the way for filling up your rental car!

Standard Hilton Garden Inn, which is a positive. Nice size rooms, which include microwaves and refrigerators. Small, but well equipped fitness center and a medium size pool. As a bonus, has $5/day guest passes to nearby gym and hotel shuttle will provide transportation. Has small business center with computers (free internet) and printers. Staff are very friendly and efficient. In a non-descript office park. Breakfast at hotel restaurant is good. Plenty of free surface parking. Fairly easy access to Rte. 101. Has half-hourly shuttle to SFO which runs about 20 hours a day.
BOTTOM LINE: Very good; however, may not be greatly superior to other nearby properties, so price comparison is worthwhile.

We stayed the night here before departing for a week long trip to Cabo and used Hilton Honors points to get the room. Easy!! Check in was a breeze, the fresh chocolate chip cookies were delish, there is what is called a "pantry" next to the check in desk that was helpful if you wanted a snack or drink to add to your room tab, easy breezy!! The room was nice, nothing fancy but served its purpose. Parking easy, the parking lot is shared with another hotel so when we came back from dinner it was pretty full, just parked in the back then moved the car up closer for when we left it to go to SFO.

The shuttle was awesome and when we arrived at SFO upon return, called the hotel and they were there in a jiffy. Dropped us off right at our car. My parents stayed at a different hotel and had major issues with their shuttles being full 2x and ended up paying for a taxi who had no clue where their hotel was. I was happy how easy ours was and how efficient it was. Thank you Hilton for a great stay, keeping our car safe, the shuttle and my complementary green tea :)

Stayed here the night of Xmas to catch an early flight out next morning, and take advantage of their park and fly package. Hotel itself is very clean, room was also very clean and comfortable to sleep in. My main grip however is that when we checked in, they charged us $25 for parking saying that it in fact is not included in the park and fly package. Really? Park and fly without the park? It was late, too tired to argue much, but really a bait and switch.

On the other hand, their shuttle did come and get us in a timely manner when we returned home five days laters at 6 AM.

I've stayed at many HGI in my travels. I do have to say that this was the BEST. The hotel staff were very knowledgeable about the area. The staff was always on top of everything and spoke to us by our names. Don't know how they all knew our names even before we met them. The front desk personnel were top notch. I do have to say that Danny (the shuttle driver) is a great asset to your company.

Room Tip: won't have any complaints in any room

This hotel is amazing! The restaurant is so delicious I wish there was one in Reno where we live we would go there every weekend. The staff was sooo friendly and helpful, the room was immaculate! The whole hotel was immaculate. The area was very nice and safe. The staff was so inviting and welcoming..we have recommend this hotel to everyone we know....because of this place we will frequently drive from Reno to stay in san Francisco.! Thank you all who made our stay amazing! December 8 & 9th 2012

My husband reserved a room for me before an early flight home. Everyone on the staff was friendly and anticipated my needs. There was a gal there named Schelby who is outstanding at customer service.

My reservation was in order, the room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The bistro offers a good selection for breakfast and comfort food dinner items. The white wine selection was very disappointing - no sauvignon blanc or pinot grigio - only a mediocre chardonnay.

The location is easy to get to and just a short distance to the rental car center for the San Francisco Airport.
