Days Inn San Francisco South/Oyster Point Airport
Reviewed September 9, 2012

We just stayed here one night, after we watched our dodgers win that night. When we went into the bathroom for the first time , there was hair on ground. The door to the closet was broken and the door jamb around the bathroom door looked like or could use some repair. The AC didn't work, but it wasn't hot that night. They wouldn't credit me any thing back for that. I would not look at staying here again. Look some where else to stay.

I was on my way to Hawaii with my boyfriend but ended up getting delayed at SFO overnight. We were directed to Days Inn and we were very satisfied with the quality of service we received. The room was clean and comfortable, and the housemaids were very helpful. We felt very lucky that even though our flight was delayed, we ended up staying at a great place! I would definitely stay here again next time I come to San Francisco. There is also a cute little dive bar a block away for the weary traveler to wind down with a cocktail. Overall, great experience!!!

Room Tip: There is a great bar down the street called The Standby. Friendly neighborhood bar...and strong drin...

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff members are also friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was not very substantial, just some packaged pastries and a small fruit selection, but overall the experience was good.

Needed to stay near SFO night before early morning flight. Searched for best AARP rate and found this Days Inn. Had my two grandchildren, 9 & 11 for the day before leaving and was near the Inn so checked to see if I could check in early. Gentleman at the front desk couldn't been more accommodating, pleasant and kind. It was about 11:30am and he said a room would be cleaned in about 15 mins. Checked in and my grandchildren reviewed the room. Eleven year old said he could live there if he had an X-Box. Room was clean, well appointed, spacious with queen bed, small fridge, microwave, desk, comfy chair and other extras. Best was the location even though it was across from the freeway it was on the far side of the frontage road, not like some others that are on the freeway side of frontage roads. Minimum road noise. I would stay at this Inn again and other Days Inns if the accommodations were similar. Great value for rate. I noticed a small restaurant next door, but didn't investigate, looked interesting. Airport Shuttle was free as it was an arranged contract with a taxi service. You received a plastic card to give the driver and he was on time. Very nice guy and helpful.

Room Tip: Parking is under building so rooms are on the second and third floor. No ground floor rooms. Elevat...

First off, I'd like to say that for the price, this hotel was great! Especially in San Francisco where everything is suuuuuuper expensive. The hotel room with a queen bed was small, quaint, and the walls were a bit thin, but they provided all the necessary amenities with even an iron and iron board! My bf and I were just staying over for the weekend and were barely in the hotel room anyways. Their continental breakfast was whatever, but since youre in SF, there are so many greater places to eat. And you aren't far from a downtown area too thats super cute!

I was unsure about staying here at first because of the reviews I've read but it was definitely worth it. What was so great though was the customer service. I had left my jacket here and I live in So Cal so I was worried that maybe someone just took it or threw it out. I called right away and the management had the jacket from the cleaning service the next day and mailed it to me right then and there. I got my jacket back in less than a wk and am so grateful.

Room Tip: We got a corner suite facing the sun rise on the second floor

We have stayed in this hotel many times. The room is always very clean, bed is always comfortable, and the shower (unlike most hotels) had great water pressure. Parking in the city is an issue, but this hotel has parking for every room. The staff is always very nice and helpful, they even remember why we are in the city.

My stay here started off as well as can be expected, it was an average room, nothing fancy, in need of slight repair, but I was there for the city not the hotel so it was ok. The staff seemed nice and accommodating, until on the fourth day of our five day stay we headed out for some sight -seeing, we left out room for about two hours, as we were leaving there was a truck parked in the lot unloading furniture, I didn't think much of it at the time. We decided after a short period (2 hours) to pick up lunch and go eat in our room before leaving the are of the hotel for the day. When we walked in our room for lunch, we found our room tore apart, furniture was everywhere and all our belongings that were stored in the dresser's had been pulled out and placed on the bed and around the room. WOW....what an invasion of privacy! No warning or notice that this was going to occur, I think a friendly notice that they needed to go in our rooms and needed our belongings removed from the dressers would of been nice. I would of glady moved my stuff so that strangers were not going threw my things. This was ridiculous! When we confronted the staff, we were told that they moved our items themselves, that there was no reason to be upset! When I asked why we were not given any advanced notification, I was told that they didn't know that they would be doing this today. A big move like this, and they had no idea? That is very difficult to believe! They didn't even think that they did anything wrong!
