Make sure you understand that this is an old historic hotel. Bathrooms are tiny, with cute old tile. Rooms are fairly small but our double queen was fine for 2 adults and 2 teens. It is not super insulated so you do hear traffic outside and people above you. (Unfortunately 3 kids were above us who stayed up late and woke up early. It happens.) It is in the middle of cute downtown Sonora and only 40 minutes from Dodge Ridge ski resort. Cheapest way to stay near snow. The front desk was super friendly and helpful. Loved the restaurant Emberz which is right across street but go early, it fills up fast. Lots of antiquing nearby, cute shops, museums etc.. all walking distance. If you arent spoiled by 4 star chain hotels you will be fine. It serves its purpose in a charming way.

The room was big and comfortable. The price could have been better, as this beautiful town seems as if at the end of the world. The hotel is in the very centre of Sonora, which is not that big anyway, but very beautiful.

Room tip: The very centre of town

Located in the center of town by restaurants and shops. Older, historic, quaint hotel. Front desk was extremely friendly. We were upgraded to a king suite and offered a little goodie bag at check in. We mentioned a restaurant close by and were given a 10% coupon! The room was large. Yes, the furniture is dated but it suited the hotel. Very comfortable bed and large bathroom. Table and chairs for sitting, 2 upholstered chairs, fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. Breakfast was included and very nice, typical of most hotels. There is a rooftop pool, but closed this time of year. Free parking across the street at Rodeway Inn. Staff was extremely friendly. Would love to stay here again!

Very quaint and welcoming. Located in the center of everything! We were able to walk to bars, shops and diners. Easy Uber pick up. The breakfast was large and had a variety of selections. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very authentic to the time it was built.
