“Excellent for breakfast and lunch”
Reviewed April 22, 2014 via mobile

Two days in Sonoma and had a breakfast and a lunch at this establishment. The fact that it is always busy is a testament to the quality. Excellent choices with great variety. Breakfast served until 11:30 AM. Great choice of muffins, pastries, eggs, etc. very innovative choice of sandwiches. All fresh. Coffee excellent. When looking for a quick or leisurely breakfast or lunch in Sonoma I give this place a 100% seal of approval.

“Awesome lunch in a peaceful garden setting !”
Reviewed April 17, 2014

We had heard about the Sunflower Caffe viaa the Food Network so decided we just had to go there while in the Sonoma area.
My husband and I had lunch in their peaceful garden courtyard--what a nice oasis from the hustle of traffic,
The staff was very pleasant and helpful and WOW was the food ever great.
My husband had a chicken /kale soup that he darined every drop off and I had a salad with a very flavourful avocado dressing,
If we're ever in the area again, we'll be back !

“Good food, slow service”
Reviewed April 17, 2014

My family of 3 had lunch here, and enjoyed it. The one thing to be wary of is the miserable wait - the service is agonizingly slow, and one orders at the counter where there is a slow moving line out the door. If they put one more person on the register they could change from poor service to good in a single blow.

The food - we shared a turkey sandwich and a garden salad, both of which were very good. Our son had grilled cheese and tomato soup, which he greatly enjoyed (they were good). A little after lunch, the weight of all the cheese, butter and cream hit him, and he was pretty uncomfortable, so beware of that if you prefer something a little lighter. A glass of wine and some pretty outdoor seating made for a thoroughly enjoyable lunch.

I would return, but the family should take turns holding the place in line. Not cheap, not a deal, but it's tourist country

“Great food, great patio.”
Reviewed March 23, 2014

Six of us ate here for lunch today. All of our sandwiches were fabulous form the signature duck, tuna melt, tuna with avacado to the chicken salad. The tuna salad was fresh and light with a slight lemon taste, not mayonnaise tasting. Bread was fresh, side salads were very fresh and we loved the vinaigrette. Spinach salad was good but nothing special. Iced tea was good but go early if you want the lemonade. They sell out. You order at the counter and then we recommend sitting on the patio. They will bring your order when it is ready. Would go back again.

Reviewed March 23, 2014 via mobile

Even though it was busy the lines moved fast and table turned over fast. Had the toast with egg and avocado drizzled with olive oil and it was fabulous. Could have eaten twice as much. Everything is fresh ingredients. Good to sit outside on a nice
