Robert, sommelier and winemaker and owner greeted us, poured over ten wines while engaging us with his knowledge and sense of humor during a fantastic hour well spent in Sonoma. His wines distinctly show the terroir (which he can explain without any snootiness) and we ended up joining a mailing program (zero pressure to join, he only wants to sell wine to people who like it, he doesn't make that much wine that he would have to pressure guests to sign up, which I appreciated). Highly recommend. Tasting fee is very reasonable compared to others on the square or around Sonoma county. You might even find a coupon, but even without one, this is high value for the small price. And when you are done you can walk down the street for a great lunch at Girl and the Fig where they will open and pour wines you bring in.
