This was the first time I had stayed at the Sonoma Cottage Inn & Spa. It was magnificent. It was a peaceful setting and the gardens were still beautiful. The Fall colors were spectacular on my hike up into the foothill overlooking the town.
The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed and benefited from my massage-craniosacral work from a very knowledgeable practitioner, Ann. The massage room was beautiful. But my favorite place was the Paradisio Room with it's gorgeous fountain and fireplace. I was impressed that the owner Robert, was the architect who designed that beautiful room and "fire and ice" fountain.
The room and bed were extremely comfortable and the large jacuzzi tub was a relaxing addition. The pastries delivered each morning were yummy but I would prefer a healthier addition such as a bran muffin added. The coffee was excellent and having milk and juice in the refrigerator was nice and convenient.
I would highly recommend this Inn to anyone traveling to the wine country. It is conveniently located to the quaint downtown shops and to local wineries.
I look forward to my next visit to Sonoma!More
