This wonderful restaurant is located at the end of one of those sidewalk alleys off the square, lined with shops and boutiques. There was a comfortable outdoor seating area that was shady and beneath the olive trees, which is where we chose to sit. We had wonderful lunch there, the day we arrived in Sonoma. My wife had mussels and I had fusion dish that was similar to Paella. Both were wonderfully presented and were excellent. We brought a Sonoma Pinot Noir with us and it was perfect. We enjoyed our lunch so much that we asked our waiter to arrange a reservation for us that evening, for an encore performance. The evening meal was just as amazing, with my wife having a salmon dish, and I enjoying another seafood combination. You cannot go wrong with La Salette.
