Inn at Sonoma is a boutique hotel located in the heart of California wine country. The hotel is perfect for friends and couples visiting Sonoma and Napa wineries.

+ Great location within walking distance of Sonoma's town square which features many restaurants and tasting rooms. An easy drive to most Sonoma/Napa wineries from here as well.

+ Nicely appointed rooms, some with balconies and fireplaces. There is also a hot-tub on site (no pool).

+ Complimentary breakfast each morning as well as wine and cheese happy hour each afternoon.

- If you need to tend to business while traveling the wi-fi can be slow.

- Limited parking in lot and garage. Those with multiple vehicles or large vehicles may want to contact the Inn ahead of time.

- This is a boutique hotel best suited to friends and couples, not a full blown resort. I imagine families and children would not find it as enjoyable as my wife and I did.

Great location just 2 blocks off historic Sonoma Square. A smaller "boutique" property, we stayed here 3 nights before heading over to Napa and walked everywhere. We had a spacious king room in the main building. Very clean, very comfortable. They offer a decent morning breakfast and an evening manager's wine hour which you can enjoy indoors or out on a quiet patio. They have surface and underground parking. We opted for underground as the temps were in the 90's during our stay and it kept the car cool. The staff was very solicitous and informative. We found this quite useful because the City of Sonoma doesn't do a lot in promoting itself to tourists.

Room Tip: Check with reception for things to do, places to eat. They often have coupon for local attractions...

This is a very cute hotel in a great location in Sonoma. It is within walking distance to the square, many restaurants and tasting rooms. The service was extremely friendly. They had a great wine tasting reception with yummy small plates to go along. Their breakfast was also top notch, a wonderful quiche, fresh fruit, and other fresh made goods that was above an beyond. The room had great cold A/C which was wonderful since it was over 90 degrees when we were there. I would definitely recommend and would stay there again!

Room Tip: The top floor rooms have great little balconies that are wonderful for drinking wine and enjoying th...

This hotel is quite nice and in an excellent location. A pleasant block from downtown square which is a delightful destination for eating, walking, shopping, or drinking. The staff is very accommodating.

The physical location between a gas station and a school isn't great, but so what. You should be spending the days exploring the surround area.

Everything else about the place is fantastic. We had a fireplace room in the second building that was very comfortable and well appointed. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the daily breakfast and cocktail hour. It's a short walk from the downtown Sonoma square and shops. We will defintely be returning.

We were very happy with our choice of accommodations on our trip to Sonoma. The inn has beautiful rooms and a courteous staff. Most rooms have a fireplace for colder desert nights, and the afternoon wine and cheese is a welcome pre-dinner snack. They offer free bike rentals for easy touring of the area. It is a bit pricey, but you do get what you pay for. Easily walkable to the town center.

Large, pretty rooms with fireplace. Many have patios as well. Inn staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast options changed daily. Afternoon wine and cheese is a nice touch. I look forward to trying another Four Sisters property.
