A clean, well situated inn that doesn't go out of its way to provide any more than necessary. We love the location (right by Sonoma Square's bike shop, great restaurants, etc) and it's surprisingly quiet, given that half the rooms face the parking lot. But for the price, we would expect more. The wine & cheese "happy hour" is store bought swill - certainly not the quality of other inns in the area. The room amenities are supposedly "green" but surely there are environmentally sound products of some quality rather than these - we wound up purchasing our own shampoo, conditioner and would have purchased toilet paper if we were staying any longer! The bathroom sinks are poorly designed; the sign above indicates that the water should be turned off to get them to drain. How about fixing the problem?
Given all that, we still might stay again, just for the convenience.

Loved this place! Room was on the small side, but had a fireplace (turned on with a switch by the bed!), balcony, coffee bar/fridge. Bed was comfortable. Staff was very pleasant and helpful with restaurant suggestions. Only a block from the square with great restaurants and some shopping. Loved the tables and couches in the lobby area - was a great place for friends to meet and visit. Good breakfast. Would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: If a dresser is important to you, ask if your room will have one.

Nice inn in the heart of Sonoma. Pleasant lobby and porches to sit and relax. Comfortable rooms and pleasant breakfast. Hot tub was a nice addition. It was clean with thick towels available at the pool side. The clerks were most helpful and pleasant and offered good recommendations for restaurants and tastings. Would definitely go beck to this spot.

The Inn at Sonoma was a wonderful place to stay this past weekend. I especially liked how small the property is, and not over-run with people. Our room was updated and very clean, and the bed was comfortable, and the whole place had a relaxed feel to it. It was an easy block off the main square in Sonoma, so we walked to dinner each night which was great. The nice ladies at the front desk gave us some amazing options for dinner too, which we greatly appreciated. We would stay here again.

Room Tip: I loved our Room #2 - right off the main room, so no elevator or stairs, and still so quiet!

My husband and I stayed at the Inn at Sonoma while visiting the area. The Inn is very small (only 12 rooms or so), quiet, and cozy. Short walk to the main city square. The Inn had a evening wine and cheese hour as well as a delicious breakfast. The staff was very friendly.
