or the BLTD (Bacon Lettuce Tomato Duck Confit) - as good as it sounds. Both were wonderful, and we paired with the Ledson Pinot Noir. I thought the staff were open and honest, and every recommendation they made was great.

“Best for wine and people watching, not food.”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

The Ledson Hotel is in a prime location and its cafe offers the best sidewalk seating in town. Our service was good, their wine selection although predictably heavy on their house brand also had something for everything. I was let down by their food. I ordered a duck confit dish and the sauce that accompanied was so cloying that it nearly ruined the dish. It was supposed to some with braised chard, but instead, without warning, arrived with mustard greens, something I happen to strongly dislike. My mom got the croque monsieur which was a very interesting and heavy take on the classic. While she appreciate their use of bechemel, it was too heavy and hard to eat. I advise going there, having a nice glass of wine and perhaps an app, but don't waste your money on a proper dinner.

“Snooty”
Reviewed April 21, 2013

Wow! Our trip was interrupted by a enormously rude (what appeared to be the manager of this restaurant) person when we entered this restaurant. We were shocked by his rude approach and words to the point we stood in a trance while another couple having appetizers sat appalled as well.

We quickly left.

It was the only questionable (California-attitude-reputation) we experienced in our 4 days in S.F. & Sonoma/wine country.

Plenty of other wonderful places to eat on and around the square.

“A decent place for lunch”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

This restaurant is very well located - right off the central square in Sonoma. The food is good, but nothing terribly surprising or interesting. Perhaps there is more to be seen on the dinner menu. The best thing about this restaurant is the location and the prices are reasonable.

“France restaurant with wine matching for every menu served there”
Reviewed February 26, 2013 via mobile

I walk in for lunch during one day trip to the Wine country. The restaurant located in downtown on Sonoma wine country. My choice is Beef Bourguignon (It is pasta with short rip. ) and a glass of red wine. Food is good and price is reasonable.
