El Pueblo Inn was recommended to us by a friend and we are glad that they did. We were only in the area one night, looking for a nice hotel (not too expensive) to stay in after a day checking out wineries. This spot was wonderful. The room was cozy, the staff was very kind and helpful both through the booking and checking in/out process. The room was spacious, clean, the bed was awesome. We had no noise issues, we slept wonderfully. Overall a really great spot to stay. We got a deal due to "liking" them on facebook too. So check out their website to see if they have any specials. The location was great; close to Sonoma square. Just a few minute car ride away. Some people walk it, but it was cold so we drove. This would be a good place to check out.

Room Tip: We were in one of the California Kings and it was great. Plenty of space, really cozy bed. Slept li...

Attractive and comfortable room on pleasant grounds made this an excellent stay in Sonoma. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, ask them for wine tasting tickets. The continental breakfast was varied, with pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit, and tasty granola. There is a pool and hot tub.

It was the little things that counted. Several newspapers in the morning, a notebook full of area menus, biscotti in the room each day. Fluffy towels, attractive furnishings, friendly staff.

A beautiful place. Everyone was very nice and hospitable. The room was clean and featured a gas-log fireplace. They have really put a lot of love and care into their landscaping and it definitely shows. If we're back in Sonoma, this is the place to stay.

Room Tip: we had a first floor room with a gas-log fireplace which I would recommend for a cozy couple wine we...

I had read all the Trip Advisor reviews and we headed to Sonoma with a list of possible properties but no reservation. Although we only stayed one night, the rate was attractive and it was just a 5 minute drive to the heart of town. Our room was large, updated and clean. We paid extra for a lower patio king and loved the view of the lush gardens. Also one of our requirements was an outdoor hot tub and theirs was nicely heated, while the pool was a pleasant temp for swimmers. The breakfast was continental and had some unique twists, including fresh-squeezed orange juice and sundried tomato bagels....not your standard hotel fare. If you're interested, they have bikes available for rental on the grounds as well. All-in-all, we found the property met all our needs along with a helpful staff!

Reasonably priced, clean, continental breakfast included, lush grounds and located just shy of one mile from downtown Sonoma earns this little gem a nice review! My 2 night solo stay was pleasant and just what I expected although the room was super dark even with all the lights on! The staff was friendly and helpful and the fireplace in the lobby was a nice place to read the morning paper. I would stay there again and recommend to others:)
*One small critique: the walls are paper thin and I was woken by the sounds childen up and about outside my door before 6:30 am.

This place is quite unexpectedly pleasant. Excellent grounds and very clean & quiet. Nice pool & hot tub area. Breakfast was good, and the staff were extremely responsive. Clean - they even washed the sidewalks during our stay.

Room Tip: Suites have a porch or patio.

We stayed here for three nights and we loved it. Our room was a "Sonoma" room, large, with a King Sized Bed, fireplace and a balcony overlooking lush gardens. Spacious and well appointed. Very clean. They offer a great continental breakfast and there is a wine bar just across the street. If you want to walk down to the square, its a bit of a walk along busy Hwy 12 but only about a mile or maybe even a bit less. Overall, we were VERY PLEASED with this hotel and would recommend it strongly. The garden is just beautiful, so lush and well kept and I never heard a peep from other rooms during my stay.
