First of all let me just say I have given Mark 3 plus months to make this right. He has chosen to avoid my phone calls or when I have gotten him on the phone he defers to his accountant, still we have been given no refund. We were on a trip celebrating a birthday and had booked for 10 people but due to schedules only 7 of us could attend, we were aware there were no refunds even given 30 day notice of cancellation. The tour initially went well, we went to a couple vineyards then headed back to Sonoma. On the way back, the brakes went out on the Trolley. The driver was doing the best she could to control the Trolley but as you might imagine it was quite scary. There were no seatbelts and it was an open air vehicle so there was nothing to keep you from being thrown out of the vehicle. I'm not sure how long we went without brakes but it was a terrifying experience, the driver yelled for us to hold on as we approached the outskirts of downtown Sonoma. She was visibly shaken but was able to pull the Trolly to a stop against a curb on a main street. She then apologized and called the office to ask for another vehicle or someone who could fix our Trolley. We waited about an hour and no one came so we divided up and took Ubers back to our house because at this point we missed our dinner reservation. We never heard from the company to enquire as to our safety or apologize for the incident. When a friend of mine did reach out she was told they knew nothing about it and to call back later. Before we left SFO she reached out again and spoke to Mark. He was defensive and rude when she inquired about compensation due to the unsafe experience, At the end of the conversation he agreed to refund us $375. for those who couldn't come. I personally feel we should have been refunded for the full amount of $125. each and we would pay for the no shows. I have called Mark several times and he has a myriad of excuses from "I'm playing with my kids" to "I have to speak with my accountant". I have been in the travel business for 39 years and I believe when someone doesn't take responsibility for a bad experience that the public has a right to know.
