This is a gem of a winery, set in a large spacious area available for picnics. I also like the gift shop, where you can get great gifts. Also it jas a nice little history museum. Recommend the Sauvignon Blanc!

The beautiful park like setting of the winery makes it
perfect for a Sonoma picnic. Gorgeous views. Tasting room
is limited. Good local history museum is near the tasting room.

Our second visit....because first one last year so pleasant. It's actually in a state park, walking distance from Sonoma Square. Such pleasant staff....no hard sell (like their popular next door neighbor). Knowledgeable, friendly. Beautiful grounds, picnic area. Liked the SB and the Zin. Nice, informative mini museum which added to our knowledge of Sonoma

This winery was our second stop on our wine tour and we loved what we learned from Bob. We then had a picnic lunch and were able to borrow glass stemware for our wine to sit outside. Everyone here was friendly and the property gorgeous!

The 2010 Zin is AMAZING - buy it above all else!

This was my first time to California or any vineyard on the west coast. I may be inexperienced, but this one is tough to beat! Beautiful grounds, informative museum, friendly knowlegeable staff and fantastic wine! The newly released Zinfandel is amazing. Bob was a wonderful host and made the whole experience so enjoyable. We are shipping some wine home as this wine cannot be commercially purchased... You'll find out why when you visit. ;) it really is wonderful here and I highly recommend for a low key, non-touristy laid back experience.
