“Solid coffee and croissant sandwhiches - good place to stop for breakfast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 6, 2013 via mobile

We went based in tripadvisor reviews and this place is located in right in downtown Sonoma square, very quaint. It is small with a few tables inside and a few tables outside. My friends wanted crepes but they has run out by the time we got there at 9am. The coffee of you choose to stay is served in mugs and decent. I got the croissant with ham egg and cheese which was good nothing spectacular. Service was excellent and they even had a guy standing by the coffee to make sure you got everything you need. The cafe is quite full and seems to be frequented by not just tourists but locals as well. If you are in Downtown Sonoma and checking out the Ledson hotel and winery next door I would definitely say it is worth stopping here especially if its a nice day to eat outside.

“Great bakery”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2013

The Basque is a great bakery and a good place to get a coffee or lunch when visiting Sonoma. It is the place where the locals go daily to get coffee and lunch.

“Local Hangout”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 5, 2013

This place has GREAT baked bread. The secret is only 20 fit inside and 9 outside for breakfast which is wonderul.Large groups of six or more will not work. The ceasars salad is wonderful. Any egg sandwich on their bread YUM!! Right on the square.

“The best breakfast in Sonoma!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 11, 2013

Like walking into A French cafe....fresh bread, pastries, muffins to die for and 4 different brews of coffee. This is where the locals go. Blow off the commercial tourist big 3 diners and go here, you will not be disappointed. I ended up coming here 4 days in a row because I loved it so much!
