“Zinfandel Heaven!”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

I've had no less than 5 visits, so far. I love zins. Where do you want to start? Some are so light, there're almost zino-noirs. Most are full-bodied, full-fruit forward zins. Teldeschi, Cooke's or Old Hill--tough to pick #1. Ususally, I avoid their "County Appelation" designations (Amador, Lodi, etc.). These are nationally distributed. But the current Sonoma County choice is not only tasty, but very reasonably priced. The Bedrock and Pickberry Cabs are delicious. And their San Giacomo Merlot is an absolute "Steal" by the case. I'll be going back in early November. This place is one of my usual "Wine Country" stops. The pourers are not pushy or obnoxious. They will ask questions as to "which one is better, A or B?" But they always have another one to challenge your #1 choice so far. All just fun...........

“Relaxing Atmosphere & Adirondack Chairs”
Reviewed October 19, 2012

This was one of the wineries we stopped at during a relaxing afternoon of bicycling in Sonoma. We enjoyed taking a glass of wine out onto the patio area and relaxing in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the vineyard below. We are relatively new to wine tasting and were happy to see that this brand is easily available in our home town of Portland, Oregon.

There is a wonderful biking route to take advantage of in this area of Sonoma that is easily manageable for a variety of physical conditions and enables you to visit the vineyards at your own pace and without worrying about driving. It is a relatively flat route and on roadways that are virtually traffic free. Stop by Sonoma Valley Bike Tours near the square in order to rent a bike or pick up a self-guided map of the area. Try to time your visit during the week in order to avoid the crowds. We were able to visit three wineries in one afternoon at a very relaxed pace. We are not used to biking and are not in that great of shape, but we had such a great time, I would love to do it again some day.

A stop at Sonoma Market to pack a picnic lunch is a must. Their cheese selection will blow your mind and the made-to-order deli sandwiches are to-die-for.

“Interesting”

Very good, short but informative tour. Some great wines, and plenty of 2 for 1 tasting vouchers makes it reasonable value Nice people, and a lovely patio for kicking back with a glass of wine

“Lovely friendly place”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

This was one of the last wineries we visited and we thought it was one of the nicest. There are some lovely seats outside to enjoy your wine. The shop had some nice souvenirs and the gentleman that did our wine tasting was really friendly and informative. I felt it was more casual than some of the stuffy wineries we visited. We even had some fresh peach to try with one of the wines. Lovely place
