“Reunion perfection”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 25, 2014

As two couples reuniting for a lovely 4 days in wine country, this property was just the ticket. The very central location just off the square was perfect. The space and the porch were such a treasure for visiting, game playing and wine sipping. It was well appointed, clean with comfy beds and great showers which made our visit all about friends being together in a marvelous town.

Room Tip: Each of three units has its own porch, so all were winners!

This was a great property for the weekend. It had one of the best outfitted kitchens I have ever used in a rental. The unit was quiet, clean, bed and pillows were very comfortable, and it had a full sized coffee pot and blow dryer (very nice). The property is a block from the square so you can walk from tastings and dinner. I always try to find one negative though so here goes: pray you don't have an early riser above you and make sure you bring all your own toiletries. The only available soap and shampoo comes from dispensers in the shower. All the pictures listed are true to the site. We had the the unit off the back parking lot which might have been slightly quieter than the front ones, though there is little traffic coming through town. Would definitely use this place again

Room Tip: I think the upper suite may be the best option so you don't hear the noise from the pipes from o...

We were very impressed with the property, and our stay here made our girls' weekend in Sonoma so special. The beds are super comfortable, and the temperature was perfect. Shops, restaurants, wineries and other specialty stores are within walking distance making it so convenient not having to drive and find parking. We had a 2-bed, 2-bath suite with kitchen, living room and patio. This place is perfect for friends and families. Huge thanks to Byron Jones, the proprietor, for making this weekend one of the most memorable weekend for long-time best friends who now live in different cities (Denver, Walnut Creek, Rancho PV). We are already planning another trip back!

We stayed in Suite #155 for three nights in early October and could not have been more pleased! There was more than enough space in this beautiful apartment for the four of us. Even though the weather was turning a little cooler, we spent lots of time on the HUGE porch enjoying our daily finds of wine! The beds were dreamy, the showers powerful and the kitchen had absolutely everything one would need, even down to a fully-stocked spice drawer!

Another big plus is the location of this property - being only about a half block off of Sonoma Plaza. It's an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. We used it as our base as we toured around Sonoma County, with the longest drive being a little over an hour when we headed up north.

We'll long remember our trip to Wine Country and Auberge Sonoma! I can't wait to come back!

Room Tip: Pay a little extra and stay in #155. You won't regret it!

We stayed in Suite 155, which is the large second floor unit, and we loved every minute of our stay there. It's like living in a luxury apartment, with all the latest furnishings, smack dab in the middle of one of the neatest towns in America -- Sonoma -- with its wine shops and surrounding scenery. We stayed four nights and were extremely comfortable. With all the "excellent" reviews Auberge Sonoma has garnered here, the message is clear: Travel accommodations simply don't get any better than this. We shall return.

Room Tip: You have to climb stairs to get to #155, which may be a struggle if you have big suitcases or troubl...

This rental is just one block off Sonoma's town square, so it is walking distance to many restaurants and shops, and even several wine tasting rooms.
The unit was very clean and new, and very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this rental to others!

We stayed in suite 151 and liked it very much. The suite has a lovely porch on the street side. The location is perfect with the town square and all the restaurants nearby. We never had a shower with so much water.
