Front desk is a reason to stay longer at this very nice decored hotel. Receptionist helped out with loads of good seighs and hicke tips. Then you discover the rest of this little pearl. Good taste decor, clean top nice rooms, excellent food, peacefull hotel w cosy pool and atmosphere. To be Highly recommended and the best stop so far on our 1 month US Highway One trip.

It was the perfect day to have a birthday lunch, perfect setting under an old fig tree. Enjoyed the summer salad tremendously. The vegetable panini had delightful favours but the Reuben was a bit fatty for me. Lovely, simply

We stayed 2 nights at the hotel. Lila at the desk was the BEST. She made so many suggestions and gave us passes to several Sonoma Valley wineries. The room was clean, but small. I liked the ipod clock/radio. It had some music/nature sound options to drown out noises from downstairs or outside. We spent sometime by the outdoor pool. There are 3 very nice daybeds for lounging, and we had no problems securing one each day for our use. The pool itself was way too warm (felt like bath water on an already very hot day!). Also, it was a bit strange that diners on the patio next door had to look at us swimming.

The kitchen was AMAZING. The chef sent out a couple special bites to try that was a nice touch. The fries were a heaping pile (very good but we shouldn't have ordered them). I had the risotto and it was the best risotto I have and will ever have in my entire life. I am ruined for risotto. If your staying at the hotel, you can bring 1 bottle to dinner and they'll waive the corkage for you.

We were also fortunate enough to stay here on a Tuesday which is Farmer's Market in the square. What a hoot! The ENTIRE town of Sonoma was in the square drinking, eating, socializing, etc. How cool is that?!

Stay here. Eat here. You won't regret it!

Very disappointing, they take advantage of being located on the square in Sonoma but they are not keeping up with the building (peeling paint and dirty). It was so noisy and we were NOT told it was race weekend, the rooms sit right above the restaurant and it is so loud and then started again at 5 am, not condusive for sleeping or relaxing. The breakfast was unetible...I would much drather have donated the money to someone who needed it...parking is "your lucky if you get a space" and there are not enough for the amount of rooms. It "tries" to be trendy but forgot good old hospitality! A BIG disappointment.

After a long day of weaving through wine country, we landed on El Dorado kitchen for dinner. We had noticed it the night prior while dining across the street at the more well known "the girl & the fig." From the street, it looks very unsuspecting and due to the layout, not much activity can be seen. However, that is far from the experience. The Eldorado Kitchen offers a vibrant dinner scene with wonderful energy and food. You cannot go wrong with any of the mains, and I would definitely recommend sharing the truffle fries as a table - delish and huge portion!

The Eldorado Kitchen is truly a kitchen worth trying if you are in the area!

Had a nice dinner. Good food but pricy Friendly staff. Be sure to get the truffle fries as they were unreal. Fun bar.

We loved the location being in the square. Walking distance to shops and restaurants.. Very convenient that there was a coffee and pastry shop in the hotel as well as the Kitchen. We truly enjoyed our stay there.
