My husband and I stayed @ the HH in February when we were wine tasting in the area and loved it so much we stayed again the week after Thanksgiving (again wine tasting). The front desk staff is very friendly and welcoming upon check-in. The rooms are most importantly clean and tastefully decorated. Both times we stayed during the cooler month so the fireplace made the room extra cozy. The bed was very comfortable and with a nice duvet and linens. As some reviewers have pointed out, it is close to the highway, but we request a room on the backside of the building so the noise level is not enough to bother with sleeping. Plus traffic subsides about bedtime. During our first visit it was so relaxing sitting on the comfy leather couches next to the fireplace in the restaurant/bar, enjoying the complementary 'happy hour' wine and cheese. Unfortunately they no longer do the complementary happy hour during the week. Breakfast is provided and is the standard, eggs, bacon, potatoes, etc but is well done. The restaurant staff for both breakfast and dinner were very friendly and took care of all our requests, especially Jeff our dinner waiter. Overall our experience for both visits was fantastic! We wouldn't hesitate to stay again. A few days after we returned from our trip, we received a post card from the HH thanking us for staying with them. What a nice touch!

Room Tip: Request a room on the backside of the hotel to be further away from the highway. Downstairs rooms have a cute table and chairs outside - if you wanted to sip on wine after a day of wine tasting or enjoy and cup or coffee or tea.

Love, love, love! Headed to the Hadsten House for the 1st time with girldfriends for a weekend wine tasting trip and it was so fun!! Cute rooms with well thought out decor (I work for a resort and I appreciated that decor was asthetic & functional). Beds were extrememly comfortable and while we didn't dine in the restaurant, (we heard wonderful things about the food), the service was over the top. Especially from bartender/general manager at the Restaurant, Trent. My girlfriends and I were visiting for my brithday and not only did he engage us in converstaion and make great recommendations to us for the rest of the evening, he literally RAN a brithday cake over to the restaurnat where we were having dinner a few blocks away that the bakery had delivered to the hotel. We made it back to the Hadsten House just as Trent was closing for the evening but he invited us back into the bar for a cocktial before we called it a night. He simply could not have been more gracious and he took an already great hotel experience to the next level. Again, being int he industry, I really appreciated the special attention to detail and how Trent and his team went above and beyond with a smile :)

Can't wait to return!!!

Room Tip: It is near the main raid that runs through town but planty of rooms away from the rod (which is where we stayed) no noise issues at all

Stayed here on a family vacation. Our room was nicely sized and well appointed. The hotel is close to the highway and there was some traffic noise, but not enough to interfere with our sleep. Breakfast is included but just average - coffee, eggs, bacon, and hash browns from a steam table, a fruit salad, and oatmeal. Not even bagels or toast. The WiFi only worked from the dining room (the clerk said they'd had a lot of complaints and would be upgrading it soon) and the Ethernet port in our room didn't work at all. Next time I'd stay at one of the hotels off the main drag.

Room Tip: Get a room at the back of the hotel, furthest from the highway. And make sure either the WiFi or the Ethernet port works before unpacking if you care about such things.

The Hadsten House knows how to decorate a room. It was a nice room with a comfortable bed. The clever pocket door in the bathroom saves floorspace. No noise from other guests next door, and a quiet location away from the noise of the main street. I would stay there again. The breakfast leaves a bit to be desired, as others have said, bacon, eggs, oatmeal.
