We had planned on going to Paula's Pancake House on a Sunday based on all the great reviews. When we arrived there was a wait of at least 45 min. Not for us! We researched and found that The Greenhouse Cafe was open and close by. How fortunate for us Paula's had a long wait! We were some of the first ones in, so not crowded at all. It is a family-run restaurant and I think we were served by some of the young adults -- very nice people. Menu for breakfast is extensive and includes a number of items that came from the wife's mother (or grandmother?)-- we tried several things we have never had before. All delicious. The facility was actual greenhouse and is very cute; there's also outdoor seating and it's all right in the middle of Solvang. If you're in the area -- GO HERE!
