“Excellent charcuterie and sandwiches; beautiful decor and lovely patio”
Reviewed March 24, 2014

I greatly enjoyed lunch seated outside in the nice patio. Their charcuterie was excellent and our sandwiches were incredible. I had a prosciutto, basil, and tomato sandwich (a "PBT") which I highly recommend. We will be back!

“Great food and service”
Reviewed March 23, 2014 via mobile

Don't miss the scallops appetizer or the pork tenderloin. So good. the wait staff is additionally great at wine pairing. And don't miss the little biscuits that come in the potted plants Pots. Worth stopping buy if you're in Solvang, CA.

“Great food, so-so service, lovely location”
Reviewed March 20, 2014

We ordered at the counter. The lady taking the order seemed rather unattentive. We stood in line for quite some time. We ordered the Chef's Salad, alerting the lady we were gluten sensitive and could not have any bread, wheat or croutons on the salads. She assured us the salad did not come with croutons but when it arrived there were croutons with crumbs all over our salads ( we are very snesitive and become very ill). The patio area was lovely and we loved our salads otherwise. They ended up being excellent choices.

“Take it from a chef!”
Reviewed March 20, 2014 via mobile

We stayed at bacara spa and made a day trip to solvang to check it out, my husband always tells me how when he goes to Norway to see his family the food is not so great, me being a picky eater, in the food industry and pregnant did not had high hopes. We came here on a recommendation from a employee from the hotel, the place is understated, very American/ bistro/ pub like. We made reservation in the afternoon after browsing the menu I knew this place would be packed and sure enough it was. We got seated right away our waiter was so friendly and helpful, we had the eggplant bruschetta and soup of the day and the where both great but the bruschetta was amazing, I had the 3 little pigs, which I'm smh as to how much flavor where in those tenderloins and so tender, the atmosphere is great..I don't know about lunch but I'll def be back for dinner and try some new stuff

“Yummy Desserts”
Reviewed March 17, 2014

Nice cafe with a great charcuterie and fabulous desserts! The main menu was a bit uninteresting and featured alot of rich foods. For a $20 corking fee per bottle when you are bringing in local wines they should have the proper stemware and provide ice to chill your whites if that is your preference.
