“Good food ..slooow service.. tiny portion”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 15, 2014 via mobile

We went there on v day. Service was running very sloow and substandard. Did not ask for water refill for 20 minutes , no bread so we were starving. We could have spent more time but with the baby every delay was making us uncomfortable. Finally when food arrived after 40 or so minutes it was tasty but tiny portion. Overall not a good exp.. Good ambiance and no complaints about the quality of the food.2 stars goes to tasty food.

“Wonderful food in a charming patio.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2014

Our family visited on New Year's Day! Some of the staff had not shown up to work, but the two very responsible servers were bustling to attend graciously to every need. The chopped salad, the chicken Caesar salad, marguerite pizza, and all were superb.

“Great upscale Italian restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2014

If you're into the usual pizza / pasta thing, you may be disappointed, though they're great at this, too. However, if you want to get a taste of what Italian food really is like: Visit Cecco Ristorante! Meats, fish, delicious! Antipasti, great. We had the grilled seabass, and can only recommend it. Service was perfect, too!

“A Swing and a Miss”

I would give this at most an average because the server was good. Other than that, the meal was lacking. The wine list is a problem. This is an area that people come to for wine tasting and most I am sure know what the wine costs are. I can put up with a restaurant doing three times their cost, but the list is ridiculous. And the selections were not good. The four of us had pizza. I asked how the carbonara was made. The answer was something other than I was expecting so I figured pizza was safe. The crust was way too thick and under done. Hey, guess what? It did not taste good. So for a bottle of one of the least expensive wines and 4 small pizzas, it cost the four of us above $150. Really?
