We were seated at once next to a warm and cozy fireplace. Our server was friendly and helpfull with the types of beers that were made right there. We were unsure of the taste just from reading the menu, so we were brought samples to help us. The onion soup was a perfect addition to the pastrami sandwich which was piled high with meat, pickel, and mustard. We will be going to the BREW again.

We were torn between the Brewing Company and the Hitching Post for our Saturday night dinner....we chose wrong. There wasn't anything overly wrong, but there wasn't anything overly right either.

The service was spotty at best with the server having a slight bit of an attitude. We had to remind her to refill waters and then left for a considerable amount of time so she missed an opportunity to sell another beer.

My boyfriend ordered the sausage platter and I, the pork. I am pretty sure it was the absolute toughest piece of meat I have ever attempted to eat. The saving grace was the lingonberry sauce (which was fantastic). The sausage left much to be desired, with no real flavor to speak of. The house wheat ale that I had wasn't anything to write home about and the house dark ale that my boyfriend got was undrinkable as it tasted more like a cold cup of coffee than beer.

Atmosphere was lacking anything memorable...which could have been the one saving grace. Strange set up with the bar on one side, dining in the middle and game room on the other side.

Bummed that we traded it out for our Hitching Post Dinner.

Paid around £16 for a couple of beers and a cheese platter. This seemed pricey to us. Service wasn't bad. There was a good range of beers and bar food, but everytime we chose something the waitress would tell us that they didn't have it!

It was just OK.

We were in town for several days and ended up eating here twice. Everything is homemade from scratch and purchased locally. The owner was very friendly, its family owned and they brew their own beer. Nice change after all the wine tasting. We ate the club sandwhich and beef stroganoff, both were very yummy. Will be back, if we are ever in the neighborhood.
