“Comfortable, cozy.”
Reviewed August 28, 2012

The Mirabelle Inn is located on the edge of downtown Solvang. Friendly staff, comfortable room, pretty surroundings. A respite from the busy, touristy downtown. Very good breakfast included, although coffee was not available until 8 am.

After reading review after review, we booked room #9 here. We loved it! It was such a cute B&B! The room was clean, very open, had a very comfortable bed and a nice patio overlooking the street. I thought that it might be noisy, but it wasn't at all. We also had a bottle of champagne and personal note waiting for us when we arrived (for our anniversary)...such a nice touch. The location is so close to town that you can walk just around the corner and you're there. We had a delicious breakfast on the front patio just before we checked out. It was a little bit pricey, but we did go during the summer...I will definitely recommend this spot to friends passing through Solvang!

Room Tip: Room #9, on the 2nd floor, is off to itself. It has a fireplace, King size bed (which seemed bigger...

Darling place, nice rooms, great service in a wonderful walking location. A romantic setting with gas firplace as well as bath tub. It is very nicely decorated and the staff is so helpful and cheery. The restaurant is one of the best meals we have had anyplace in the world.

Room Tip: quite street so all rooms seem nice

We loved Mirabelle, and everything about it - the lovely decor, the quiet and convenient location, the friendly people, and dinner at the restaurant was so good we went there twice. Breakfasts were delicious and very satisfying, loved the banana bread one morning, ebelskivers the next. This was our first trip to Santa Barbara County, and Solvang is central to many great wineries, so we explored the different valleys and learned more about the region each day. We highly recommend this inn for a romantic stay in the Santa Barbara wine region.

My husband whisked me away for the weekend to relax and unwind. No special occasion - just because - happy wife, happy life as the saying goes. He did an excellent job at picking this quaint bed and breakfast near the heart of everything in Solvang. The rooms are spacious enough and nicely decorated - kind of country and the bed was better than most places I've stayed. I have a bad back so my tossing and turning was minimal. The couples massage my husband arranged at the inn was very nice and relaxing. They came to the room to retrieve us and took care of us for the new couple of hours. So nice. It pretty much set the tone for the rest of the weekend. The innkeeper Brigitte was very sweet and very helpful, as were her assistants and the staff over all. The restaurant and chef Norbert were amazing. My advise - have the lobster macaroni and cheese and the steak! Phenomenal! It can be a little pricey but so worth the trip if you can afford it. I highly recommend this place. We definitely will be going back soon.

My husband and I stumbled across the Mirabelle Inn a year and a half ago, and we are frequent return visitors. The secret to heaven at the Mirabelle is Room 9. Solvang is a quaint town, and in Room 9, you can smell the aroma of jasmine, and hear the horses walking by - so relaxing. the We have been in other rooms, but 9 has a private balcony in the trees and a deluxe bathroom with spa tub. The king size bed is roomy and comfortable. The restaurant is a must for anyone visiting Solvang.
The staff are welcoming and completely accommodating. My husband left a garment bag in the room and the staff shipped it the next day.
A great experience - we will be back.

Room Tip: Room 9 is the best.

The reception when we arrive made us immediately feel at home. Our second floor room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfasts were excellent. Be sure to have at least one dinner in the attractive dining room. The meals are prepared by an excellent chef who took the time to come out and greet his guests. All this in one block from the mai street in Solvang.
