everything was great, modern, clean and nicely decorated with comfortable beds and linens which are very important to me. I love the Danish modern decor and the light, bright open spaces. We were there for a race and it was helpful that the startline was walking distance. Overall the location of the hotel cannot be beat!More

Great modern comfortable ambiance, amenities and decor. The staff is super friendly and the whole vibe of The Landsby is hip and laid back. Bar is being remodeled and can't wait to visit when it's complete. The courtyard fire pits are awesome.

Loved this hotel, it's so nice! It's recently renovated and just beautiful/clean/modern yet super comfortable. We stayed in room 16, which had a very nice view! Loved the amenities and the comfy bathrobe. Everything was great, and loved the hardwood floors. The courtyard is spectacular, couldn't stop taking photos. Very friendly and welcoming staff, extra shout out to Meegan (I hope I'm spelling it correctly) and Julie at the front desk! Oh, and the breakfast was really amazing. Highly recommend California Eggs Benedict, wow wow wow!! It's right in the center of the historic Solvang, so we walked everywhere.
This is my first review but felt it necessary. The hotel is simply charming with very comfortable beds and adorable rooms. The customer service was found to be very unfriendly and not accommodating at all. Loved the choice of shampoos, conditioners and body gel. Quant lobby. Arched ceilings in rooms.
Great Time, we where very pleased with the Hotel and our stay, the Restaurant is amazing have to try the Olives & nuts Appetizer and the Ahi Tuna Seared was wonderful along with the salad and dessert.
My wife stayed last week at the hotel for 2 nights. She then went down to Newport to meet me for two days and we came back to the landsby for another visit. Our third time here.
We came to the hotel at 1230. We asked to see if our room was ready. Check in at 3.
She said she would call us when it was ready.
We checked back at 130 and she said the cleaners were at lunch.
We checked back at 230 and she said they were still at lunch.
It was obvious that she made NO EFFORT to try and accommodate us.
Not good service. Probably last visit here. Plenty of other good hotels.
