“Pizza and Pinball”
Reviewed April 23, 2006

This is some of the best pizza in the area (possibly second only to Besta-Wan in Cardiff) but has a GREAT selection of micro-brew beers. There's also a few arcade games to play against your drunken friends.

Keep in mind though, that all of the seating is picnic table-style and it can get really loud in the evenings... which can be really fun or annoying, depending on your situation.

“The Best Micro-Brew (and pizza)!!!”
Reviewed May 27, 2005

This is our favorite pizza/micro-brew eatery, well this location and the Carlsbad Village Drive location (there is also a 3rd location in San Clemente). We enjoy the garlic-veggie pizza and the "beer buddies" which are pizza crust topped with garlic and parmesan. But mostly my husband likes to go there for the India Pale Ale. They brew a lot of their own beer, but also have really good guest beers. Sometimes they have beer "on cask" and you beer people will know what I'm talking about. For as long as we have been going there, they've had a 25-cent wing and cheese stick night on Wednesdays (bbq wings and mozzarella sticks). The seating is table and bench, as in a few long rows of tables and benches all together, so you are elbow to elbow with the people at the next "table," although there are a few freestanding tables in the area by the window. There are several big tv screens always on showing various sporting events. The decor is real surfboards. In the back is a small arcade for the kiddies. There are about three outdoor tables but we don't usually sit out there because of second-hand smoke and a lot of Harley noise from those cruising the 101. The Carlsbad location is similar, but it is in a large funky brick building and has a long bar that you can sit at. Their outdoor tables are on a covered gated patio at the side of the building.
